    Back water valve

I had the pleasure of meeting with Naz for an estimate to prevent future back up in my basement. He explained the process and necessity of having a back water valve. The workers were very polite, quick and tidy. The supervisor would check in throughout the day to ensure we were happy. Thank you for the peace of mind.

    toilet replacement

Naz came to the rescue when my son used the toilet drain as a parking lot for his toy car; he came out and attempted to fix it without having us purchase a new toilet. While the car eventually dominated the toilet and stopped the water from draining, the entire process of replacement (picking out, scheduling the appointment and replacing the toilet) was painless, cost effective and took less than an hour. And he even followed up to see how we felt about the new throne. Thank you for a good job Canadian Rooter.

    waterproofing

We had a few companies come by for an estimate for our leaky basement wall. We found them to be a bit pushy and now too confident with the way they would answer our questions. Canadian Rooter was the most knowledgeable representative. He was able to provide us with options! Which we found to be very helpful in making the decision to water proof our whole house instead of just the leaking section. Yes, one time fix was a bit expensive, however it does save a lot of money down the line if we have a leak elsewhere. The work was down quick, very neat and looks like very good quality. We were always informed of all the steps involved. What was great also is that we were given some other advice on what we could do to ensure we do not get flooded (ie. back water valve, sump-pump installations). We will be doing that as well with Canadian Rooter a little later on.

    Toilet repair

We had leaking toilet in one of our bathrooms. John from Canadian Rooter was at our place in less than 2 hours after my wife called them. Quick diagnosis - what was wrong and how he was going to fix it – DONE in less than hour including cleaning. My wife is already thinking about what else they can do for us (we have a few more issues). Impressed with their professionalism and work ethics - great experience.

    Professional Recovery

I purchased 2 new toilets and was searching for a local company to install them. I have been looking for a local company to become my 'go-to' plumbing service having tired several in past couple years. I saved a flyer from Public Plumbing and called them first. My message was returned within hours, and I arranged with Phil (who returned my call) to come 2 days later in install them. I was impressed with Phil who was both professional and experienced and instilled confidence when I met him. He recommended a double seal on one toilet where the floor had been raised and I was grateful for the recommendation. Later that afternoon after he left, my son phoned me to suggest the upstairs toilet was leaking into the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom. I phoned Phil and he came later that afternoon. It turned out to be a tube ( I'm sure that isn't the best term for it) that connects water supply into the toilet. Phil replaced it, and called me to assure me a manager would call about the potential damage in ceiling in basement and the light fixture where water had been leaking. A day later, the basement toilet was leaking as well. They came right away and replaced the tube again. It turned out the box of faulty tubes. A supervisor called promptly after the first leak about the damage to ceiling and came to look at it. During that visit he removed my light fixture and I agreed with his suggestion to leave the opening and let the space between floor and ceiling dry out. The leak had not been major and they agreed to replace the light fixture. Both toilets are working well. I delayed calling about the light fixture, and they phoned me to arrange a date to install the new one. The replacement fixture was an improvement over the original basic fixture. It's been a year, and I'm happy. I now have a plumbing service company I am happy to call when I need plumbing service.

    Clogged toilet

I had a clogged toilet and tried clearing it myself for days, but to no avail. Naz came over the same day I called and had the blockage cleared in no time. He was friendly, professional and charged a fair price for the work done. I would highly recommend this company.

    changing lead pipes

I got a letter from the City that need to change my lead pipes. John came over here and gave me a free quote. I did find their quote slightly higher but was confident that I’m choosing the right company. Now many houses on the street are done by different companies and i can tell the difference. I am happy i chose Canadian Rooter. Thanks guys, I will be sure to call you again with any issues and recommend you to friends! Yaron
