    Kitchen drain very slow

    Called back quickly and after I left a message. They weren't able to come the first day as I didn't call until after 4:00 and they were fully booked for that day. Andrew came the next day and was able to complete the work in a timely fashion. I would recommend their work for any emergency plumbing needs.

    Very Impressed with Canadian Rooter

    I hired Canadian Rooter for a basement sewage line replacement and back flow valve installation; and I must say I was quite impressed. The team was professional, prompt, and efficient. The first stage - of the assessment, quote and permit application was seamless. Naz in particular handled all of the details and kept me well informed throughout. Of course, the permit approval process with the City took more time than I preferred, but that was of not fault of the team. The second phase and actual work itself was scheduled quickly and completed in a very timely manner. They kept the work space very tidy, such that you wouldn't even have known a massive trench was dug and significant demolition took place. Naz even facilitated the rebate application in the aftermath. Would highly recommend for future projects.

    Clearing out roots from main

    Got quotes from 3 places and these guys were the most affordable and the only ones willing to give me an approximate cost without first charging me for a camera inspection (I knew what the issue probably was since it has happened before). Terry was professional, friendly, and did a great job explaining what needed to be done. Would hire again.

    Replace Lead Water Pipe

    My neighbour (semi-detached) and I got our lead pipes replaced at the same time, which Naz at Canadian Rooter was willing to provide a discount on. I got a quote, and my neighbour got a quote from another company. Naz called back right away, came over the next day and always returned my calls within 1/2 an hour. My neighbour waited and waited for his other company, then tried another and eventually got an appointment. Naz's quote was cheaper so we went with him. But it wasn't just price. I was impressed with how easy Naz was to deal with, how he explained everything and just gave me overall confidence. I have a subfloor in my basement and I took responsibility to deal with replacing that myself. On the morning of the job Naz listened to my concerns and we decided to move the dig point to reduce this impact. This involved moving the meter, and extra piping to connect to the old point. In this case, there was no extra charge for my last minute request. He offered to put the new pipe behind the drywall, but it's behind the laundry machines so I declined that. I am thrilled now that the disruption to my laundry room is much easier to address. His team were great; courteous, considerate of our home and left everything as clean and tidy as they found it! Sorry for that big rock you ran into Naz which made the job longer. On time and on budget. Very happy.

    Trench Drains Project

    We had Canadian Rooter quote and performed a major installation of Trench drains in our shop. They were also able to diagnose and identify problems with our existing underground piping infrastructure. They proposed a solution and were able execute immediately. Their quality of work was excellent, and they were able to complete the job in a timely manner as we were under a significant time constraint. The process of negotiation of prices right down to coordination of work was handled very well. Naz was a pleasure to work with and I will be using them again in the future for any major plumbing or industrial work.

    Pipes destroyed by roots

    When my laundry tub backed up I thought I was dealing with a simple blockage. I had no idea it was the start of a nightmarish scenario with roots throughout an old clay pipe system that needed to be dug up and replaced. I got lucky that Naz was recommended to me by my neighborhood group because he and his crew are honest, kind and helpful. He patiently talked me through what to expect, dealt with the gas location, explained details to my insurance adjuster, arranged for a post-work inspection and delivered exactly what he promised. The crew were courteous, helpful in moving a lot of heavy items out of the way and cleaned up after themselves. And they were able to fit me in on an emergency basis because I had no plumbing at all, while caring for an elderly parent at home. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

    Residential Watermain Replacement, Galvanized Pipe Replacement

    It was critical to have some inside galvanized pipes replaced in a new home so that my insurance co would agree to provide coverage. We decided at the same time to replace the existing lead pipe watermain. Naz was very clear in describing the work to be done, and the risks, and was very accommodating in scheduling the work to meet the insurance co deadline. He also insisted that we get permission from the owner of the neighbouring property in case their land had to be disturbed or intruded upon. The crew arrived on time, completed the work on schedule and cleaned up efficiently. One small hitch in the type of piping installed inside was resolved very quickly with no complaints. All in all a good experience.

    Looking for a plumber? Look no further!

    Naz, the owner of Canadian Rooter, came to my home for an emergency visit after my husband found water in the basement. He quickly diagnosed the problem - tree roots in the pipes. He was able to start the work right away, saving our basement from more water damage. His quote for pipe replacement and water proofing was fair and his crew of 5-6 guys finished the work on time. They took care of everything from start to finish (including moving the heavy items out of the basement, submitting forms for a city rebate and dealing with insurance). Naz himself was amazing - helpful, polite, respectful, honest and fair. And a big bonus was how respectful his crew was to our home. They treated it like it was their own, cleaning up before they left each day. Thank you Naz and the whole Canadian Rooter team! 10/10 would recommend.

    back water valves installation

    Naz was able to give two options to remedy the problem . He not only was prompt in arranging the project but he also handled all the paper work . His workers were skilled and cleaned up after. There were no problems and we are very satisfied

    Cleared out my clogged dishwasher pipe

    Terry listened carefully to understand the problem from my perspective, then he investigated it thoroughly, and then went to work fixing it expertly. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. He also took the extra step of testing the fix with me helping and observing. I would highly recommend Canadian Rooter and Terry specifically as well.
