Very professional
I was very impressed with the speed of response from Public Plumbing. Turnaround from email was about an hour. The work was to remove a garburator, replace the sink drain and piping and to replace a kitchen faucet. The work was done swiftly and professionally and I felt that Phil was very competent and the price was fair. Phil, the plumber arrived at exactly on time. I was more than happy with Public Plumbing's speed of contact as the number one listed company on the Homestars list failed to return 3 phone calls and an email over a 4 week period. I would certainly use Public plumbing again

BATHROOM RENOVATIONS
I had three bathrooms done. Powder room just floor and vanity, main bath just vanity. Ensuite bath gutted - tore down walls and moved things around. Naz was my contact and the best. Always addressed any concerns I might have right away. The project started in the time span given to me and was finished right on time. Workmen showed up every single day and I was amazed at how quick they got the job done.. Workmanship is perfect. I would recommend them to anybody. I love my new bathrooms, they are way than I dreamed of. Recommend Public Plumbing to anyone!more

Multiple issues at home
I initially found Public Plumbing in Homestars. I asked fir a quote for some mold that was in my basement due to a water leak from my garage shut off valve. I was thoroughly impressed with Phil Burns who came to my house to do the work. He was very honest and polite. I asked his opinion on other things that possibly needed to be done around the house as well and he gave me his honest opinion based on his years of experience. I am glad i found Phil and now i have him on speed dial!

Leaking pipe
Paul from Public Plumbing did an excellent job of repairing a leaking pipe in our bathroom. His soldering work was excellent, he was polite and pleasant to have in the house and cleaned up before leaving.

Plumbing
We had a good experience with the company. Things were done the way they said and the price was good. So I would recommend them to anyone and use them again if needed.

Looking for the source: Water leaking from ceiling of Kitchen!
There was a slow but mysterious water leak through the ceiling of my kitchen and after consulting friends and one professional plumber, no one seemed to have a feasible solution to figure out where the water was coming from. Out of desperation - the leak has grown from one dripping pinhole to dripping pinholes from several spots plus one slowly growing brown stain - I called Public Plumbing for an emergency evaluation and repair. Vlad, the most personable plumber whom I ever have the pleasure to meet, came knocking on my doors within hours of my call. Several minutes of his arrival, he has already worked out a plan and have started to search for the leak, unlike the other "professionals" who had simply talked about the "possibilities" of the cause of the leak. After cutting a couple of holes in the kitchen ceiling, Vlad was able to isolate and locate the exact spot of the leak: a nail that was used to reinforce the ceiling/floor joist during the construction of my home 8 years ago has gone through a wooden block and struck one of the water pipes that was supplying cold water to my 2nd floor main bathroom just enough to not leak at the time. After all these years it has finally rusted the tip of the nail and begun the slow dripping leak. I'm not exaggerating but Vlad has already speculated this possibility before he'd started his search and I truly believe that shows knowledge and experience. And at the end, the bill was surprisingly small considering the quality and professionalism they have shown. All-in-all, I was quite impressed by Vlad and Public Plumbing's service quality (before, during and after) and am pleased to recommend their service to my friends and family members.

Kitchen drain pipe repair
No worries when hiring Public Plumbing ask for Naz the supervisor he will personally gurantee that you won't get ripped off. Naz sent one of his plumbers to an emergency drain pipe leak in my basement. Vlad his more than capable plumber diagnosed the problem as a hairline crack in my kitchen drain pipe and quickly saved my basement from damage from the water leak. Excellent service and I didn't have to worry that Vlad would charge too much!! Job well done Naz. I will gladly recommend you and your team!!! Frank Ferrari, Etobicoke ,ON.

Backwater Valve & Sump Pump
Started with City of Toronto Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program and ended with Public Plumbing professional service and extreme satisfaction upon completion of their work on backwater valve and sump pump installation. Efficient, on-time, knowledgeable and pro-active. Would recommend their service without any hesitation!

Excellent service from start to finish!
While staying at my daughter's home in Toronto to babysit my 2 young granddaughters, I was unlucky enough to have to deal with a leak underneath the kitchen sink while I was there. Fortunately, I found Public Plumbing online and gave them a call. Not only did I speak with a wonderful young lady on the phone initially, but she called me back within minutes to let me know that a plumber would be there within the hour. Also, after that, the plumber called me to let me know when he would be there. Soon afterwards, he arrived. He was very courteous and polite and initially reviewed the cost of the work before making any repairs which I appreciated. He was the nicest plumber I have ever met and was eager to answer all questions that I had about other areas of the home. He was very helpful and I would not hesitate to use them again the next time I am in Toronto. In fact, I left my daughter that very message and also let her know she can ask for this particular plumber by name (I believe his name was Paul). Thank you for 'coming to my rescue' and preventing what could have been a worse mess later on.

Plumbing for clog in kitchen sink
I can't tell you how extremely satisfied I was with the service I had from - I believe his name was 'Phil'. He worked hard to remove a very difficult clog deep in the drainage pipe from my kitchen sink. I need my kitchen desperately with 5 kids and a husband to feed! He even called me back to review his work and provide process improvements for this to not happen again. The price was right as well! I work at Cooperators, Mississauga with an employee count of over 600 and will spread the word on your great service! Thank you! Joanne Capano
