    Tub faucet leak

    Persistent leak from an older tub faucet. Nick first came to offer diagnosis & cost estimate. Set up return date...arrived right on time..got the job done...friendly, polite, patient, personable... .....office called later to check on the job..overall very pleased. Will definitely use again & recommend.

    Fixed Drainage Issue

    Tree roots were blocking my drainage but the relatively old house meant that the pipes weren't accessible by a regular plumber nor the City. Public Plumbing did an excellent job at diagnosis and repair to get the drainage working again. It was a major task requiring drilling to install a new pipe and subsequent repair. I especially appreciated the quality of service. Every commitment (date/time of appointments, clean-up, etc.) was met, I was consistently kept informed, the crew arrived extra early on a Friday morning to fill the hole to let me get my car out of the garage, worksite was cleaned up, in addition to fixing the core problem. While I hope not to have to use such services in the future :)) I certainly would call Public Plumbing again and/or refer them to neighbours and friends.

    Bathroom plumbing

    Professional, knowledgeable, dependable, friendly - all you can ask for in a plumbing service. Needed my fixtures replaced and he knew exactly who the maker was and all the pieces necessary. Great work!

    Floor Drains, Backwater Valve

    These guys were great to work with. They were on time, communicated well, did good work and were very fair. I'm pretty demanding and meticulous; I shopped around before hiring them and was very happy.

    New backwater valve and 2 new sump pumps

    Based on great reviews on Homestars I called out Public Plumbing to get a quote on a broken sump pump. Mike came out and was a pleasure to deal with. He found that we have 2 sump pumps and both needed replacing. He also advised us well to get a backwater valve and helped us with everything including saving us big bucks with city rebates, making the cost a fraction of what's posted here. Mike ran into some challenges as he was digging for the backwater valve. He discovered another potential problem that was easily remedied with little added cost. He got through any challenge by calling in other experts from Public Plumbing and together they we're able to get me exactly what I needed done. I've never seen a company do such a messy job, but keep the place so clean and intact, I really couldn't believe it. They completely respect your home and always show up on time and behave in the most professional manner. I will be using Public Plumbing for all future plumbing needs and highly recommend them. Ask for Mike, he's a heck of a nice guy and knows his stuff!

    New Shower Pipes and Hardware

    I am extremely happy with the service received from Nick at Public Plumbing. We had to have a very old shower assembly fixed and Nick was able to replace the old and add in new fixtures within a very good timeframe..a little glitch on when they could get it started, but emergencies do happen, so not a big deal. This is the second job that we have had this company complete for us and would not hesitate at all to recommend or call again in the future. Honest, efficient and friendly, with a warranty provided.

    Toilet Repair

    Needed toilets in our ladies room fixed .Called john from an ad in Money Saver magazine . He was most pleasant on the phone and sent someone that day .Phil came to our office and he was one of the friendliest guys you would ever wish to meet .Had us laughing .Very neat and presentable. He took a look and told us it would be about an hour which it was. ( We had been told toilets would have to removed ,lifted etc ,a whole production) Phil explained in detail what was happening, why it was happening and what he could do to stop it. Would def recommend them

    plumbing issues

    I have had both Vlad and Nick come by to help with general plumbing issues in my home. As a new home owner it's very scary knowing which contractors to trust and how efficient the job will be. I am very pleased with both plumbers work and their follow up with me to explain the issues that had caused it. I would without hesitation recommend Public Plumbing to others if needed. I will again use this company as I am sure there will be another issue as a homeowner .

    Plumbing emergency repairs (Main water line burst)

    I was really impressed due to I contacted this company three days before the long weekend. . The provided a prompt reply, Quick service, all workers respected my property. They all very polite,. They provided the best solution that was most economical for the customer. We were up and running for the long weekend for us to enjoy. Thanks again a completely satisfied customer.

    Sewer pipes replaced

    Mike and his expert team immediately came to our rescue when we experienced a horrific sewer problem in our basement. He assessed the situation quickly and accurately. His crew worked nonstop to dig up, replace and fill in the damage. The quality of the work was outstanding. The men cleaned up after themselves and Mike returned to do a thorough follow up. I highly recommend this company. Thanks, Mike, you saved us!
