We used A&A for several different exterior repair and upgrade tasks. All of the teams have been excellent: knowledgeable, diligent, respectful, and friendly.
The waterproofing team had to excavate almost entirely using shovels, but were very efficient. The advice on the project we received from Greg was very helpful. At the same time, we had more than 40 bricks replaced on an exterior wall and on the chimney. We were very happy with the masonry crew. Our house is a late Victorian with high walls and not much working room. The masonry crew was able to find replacement bricks that blend well with the original. They worked very efficiently and cleanly despite the limited space.
This spring we had the interlocking team rebuild our front garden beds, replacing old rail ties with stone. The work on this project was truly spectacular. The crew was very careful to preserve our existing plants, and listened carefully to our request to expand the garden area where possible. We are completely delighted by the work. Justin and Thomas were not only friendly and polite, but gave us regular updates on the work, explaining the process whenever we had questions.
We also had this team redo our driveway and side walkway. They regraded the area beautifully and made the path to the backyard much easier to navigate. We are so pleased with the interlocking work. It looks clean and attractive, and adds so much to the front of the house.
We owe a major thanks to Haizel for helping us to find the stone and interlocking that worked for our project. Not only was she a helpful contact person, keeping us informed of any supply issues, she brought samples of various stone to us so that we could look at the actual product, not just pictures. This really helped solidify our decisions.
Overall, our experience with A&A was excellent. All aspects of the company were professional, respectful, helpful, and efficient. The service and results exceeded our expectations -- highly recommended!
