    foundation parging

    excellent work done in one day. From Dan's inspection to Dwight's hard work.... we are more than satisfied. We chose this company , not just because of its high ratings, but because we have seen their work on other homes in our area. Honest, reliable folks. thanks.

    basement waterproofing

    Thanks to A&A Masonry for a job well done. The crew arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the waterproofing of our basement. Everyone at A&A was informative, reliable and extremely customer service orientated. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

    chimney build

    We live in an older bungalow, which was (and still is) in need of some TLC. When we needed a chimney repair. I found you all on homestars and my father was the one that contacted you all in early April. The day the job was to be completed. I was nervous when I saw what looked like two young men arrive to complete the work...However, my nervousness soon dissipated. They came to the home and worked diligently to produce a beautiful chimney for us with minimal disruption to us.(I stand outside and admire it from time to time..lol) They came to our home, were kind and courteous, respectful, completed the job as asked, professional in everyway and cleaned up after themselves, even hosing the driveway down! would not hesitate to use them again, they are the real deal! Will be contacting them again very shortly for more projects.

    Pointing

    Wonderful service. James was very kind and made asking questions easy. Was very comfortable asking him about pointing and he was eager to give me the correct answers. Very thorough and his helper Alex was very professional.

    Stone replacement & waterproofing

    Initially, I called A&A to repair old mortar outside to prevent a leak in the corner of my basement caused by shoddy construction. Instead of new mortar work, Joe and his team assessed the situation and recommended an alternative of replacing the old stone & mortar layout with single rectangular slabs of limestone (three end to end) and making sure the stone slopes away from the side of the house. Joe also applied some extra mortar near the leak area to make sure. After the recent heavy rains, so far no leak has been detected. These guys were very professional and on time. Thanks guys.

    Exterior Waterproofing

    Remember when it was warm for 28 seconds in February? I do because my basement leaked for the first time ever. A little despondent, as we'd just completed a basement reno, I found A&A. Bill was immediately responsive, walked me through the options, and provided a solution that would solve my problem within my budget. Dominic and his crew were amazing. Dominic is affable and knowledgeable and took the time to explain and entertain my many questions. He went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right, and his crew were friendly and efficient. They were in and out in three days - not nearly enough time for the neighbourhood kids to sufficiently check out the giant hole beside the house. That's probably for the best, really. I'd totally recommend Dominic and A&A to anyone else fitting to do battle with basement water. Thanks guys.

    Tuckpointing

    We did our research before landing with A&A. Our house is 80yrs old and needed some repairs to cracked, chipped, mismatched and missing mortar. Bill from A&A provided us with a fair and detailed estimate (others tried to undercut or over-sell work that needed to be done) and took the time to answer questions (some provided vague written quotes and didn't return our calls for 4-5 days). When the weather was right, the guys got the job done in one day and took the time to closely match the mortar colour, which was very important to us. The place looks great. Thanks!

    Basement waterproofing

    We went through a couple of companies before settling on A&A. They provided an affordable estimate -- which they stuck to -- and good advice on how to tackle our waterproofing problem, as well as some other potential projects. Dominic and Collum were very efficient team, completing the work -- which we expected to take two days -- in a single Saturday.

    Basement floor & waterproofing

    We were pleased with our concrete floor and we worked out our issue with the company. Andy has been helpful and Dominic is a very nice and very professional person.

    Waterproofing

    We were already very satisfied with A & A Masonry for doing a fantastic job with our home extension several years ago. So when water started coming through the original side of the home along a mutually shared drive (go figure - the one side we hadn't renovated) of course it was straight to the phone to call Brad at A&A and set up waterproofing. We weren't disappointed. The work was done for a fair price, quickly (over a few days) and without mess which was much appreciated by our neighbours. Thanks again to Domenic and his crew for another professional job well done!
