We ran into a contractor that steered us in the wrong direction on a waterproofing job to our 1880's row house. The house has a dug out basement that was benched and we were advised by another company that we should waterproof the outside down to the original footing (with no solution for the sunken benched basement). Vincent and Domenic came in and spent some time carefully surveying the situation. They told us that the only solution to waterproof our house was from the inside. It was so refreshing to see this consultative, customer first approach. While we aren't using them on this job, we will definitely be calling should we require waterproofing/masonry work again. Very helpful, knowledgable team…. Strongly recommend them!! By the way..the $25 was value of the thank you gifts we provided them for their outstanding service!

I had a leak in my basement foundation. Bill came, gave me an estimate, and explained what had to be done. The work was done shortly after by Vlad, Alex and Eugene and set up by Dominic. The job was very well done during very cold inclement weather. Highly recommend them all.

We highly recommend A&A Masonry. After receiving 6 quotes for basement waterproofing we chose A&A because we felt very comfortable with Brad during the quotation process. Dominic lead the waterproofing work; punctual, thorough (Dominic reviewed the work with us during every step of the process), followed up after the job, price was as quoted. We had a burst basement pipe to deal with as well during the job, and the guys (Dominic & Brad) were flexible, professional and extremely helpful throughout the process. We would not hesitate to work with them again!

We called A&A Masonry after we noticed water on the basement floor during the 2 warm days, mid-January, due to exterior an thaw. Bill immediately contacted us, came by the house, assessed the source of the water, estimated the job and provided outstanding customer service. He personally prepped the worksite with meticulous care and cleanliness. He answered all questions with professionalism and was a pleasure to work with. Dominic and his men dug the trench and installed the sump. He too exhibited courtesy and professionalism and worked well into the evening to get the job done. We are very pleased with the job to date, although it has only been 3 weeks since installation. We also received a 25 year guarantee on the job. We are very glad to have chosen A&A to solve our foundation problems. Bill, Andy, Dominic, and the hard-working crew of Eugene and Vladimir were all very pleasant and professional. The work was done in a timely manner and the clean-up was excellent. Dominic was great at communicating any issues that cropped up during the job and getting our approval before moving on. The phrase "you never regret paying for quality" comes to mind. This was not the cheapest quote we received but the job was completely hassle-free and the workmanship is excellent.

We recently had the great pleasure of working with Dominic and the team at A&A Masonry on the interior waterproofing of our finished basement office. We had had a permanent damp area in one corner for 13 years, and several costly attempts to waterproof the exterior foundation had not solved the problem. A&A Masonry brought their expertise and experience to bear, and for a surprisingly affordable cost, waterproofed our basement from the inside. This involved opening a trench along the walls to install a drainage system under the footing of our house, connecting that to the whole house drainage system, installing a delta membrane along the walls and down under the footing, backfilling the trench with crushed stone and then pouring and finishing the concrete floor. Dom and the team were wonderful to work with, knowledgeable and friendly, courteous and punctual. Their work was highly professional, and they left the basement spotless. A much appreciated feature of their contract was no requirement for a deposit, and payment on completion of the job only when we were completely satisfied. Every house with a basement in flood-prone Toronto should be waterproofed in this manner, and property insurers should take note. Our basement is now warm and dry, with no mould or damp smell. A&A did a great job. Dominic and the team were very polite and attentive to our needs. I have recommended them to friends and will probably have them quote on other work in the spring.

In July my basement was flooded following the flash flood. I called a few waterproofing companies among them was A&A Masonry who responded immediately - Bill came over and viewed the site and gave me a couple of options to ensure that the exterior of my home was properly waterproofed. A&A even gave me a 25 year guarantee on their work which was excellent and made me confident to utilise their services. Dominic was very responsive and kept to their promised schedule. He explained what the issues were and assured me that the work that he and his team carried out would ensure that my basement exterior was properly waterproofed. In comparison to my experience with another contractor A&A were very professional and were confident about the quality of their work. Thank you Dominic and Bill.

Dominic was very thorough on site and was proactive in explaining what was going on. Bill was also a pleasure to deal with before and after the project. This was our first experience with A&A and I would definitely recommend them. Keep up the great work.
