    Concrete pad

Dominic was awesome, he understood exactly what i wanted and made suggestions on the best way to proceed. He was on time, if not a bit early, very polite, and left the site cleaner than i had it to begin with. All in all a great experience.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks David! Dominic is a real pro, and since he took over the running of our waterproofing division, he has made a real contribution to our company. --Andy

    Tuckpointing

I inquired about A&A's services through their website and they responded the same day. Within a couple days, Brad visited our house and provided a quote and scheduled the work to be done the same week. The work was completed on time and the quality is great. I haven't dealt with any other contractor as thorough and easy to deal with as A&A!

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Travis! It's a bit of a trick to keep the team growing so we can provide fast high quality service in the face of a rapidly increasing demand, but we are managing to keep up. --Andy

Pre-sale water test to identify root cause of water leak

Dan Vetere did a great service to us by volunteering to do comprehensive water tests to identify root cause of water leak. He was prompt in showing up at the time he promised and I was impressed with his in-depth knowledge which saved us a lot of time and money.... His tests showed us where the effort in waterproofing should be focused and this priceless service actually did not cost us money as he kindly suggested this is part of his company presale service. Thanks again Dan for your excellent support.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Hassan! I too have found Dan to be friendly, honest & helpful. --Andy

    basement waterproofing

Dominic and Frank, our waterproofing team, were prompt, polite, informative and VERY accommodating. They were considerate of our property and our neighbours. Dominic did daily walk-abouts and took pains to explain everything well. Thanks to both Dominic and Frank, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend A&A Masonry.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Rosemary! That was a tough job, but it was made easier because you made it a friendly environment for the men. They appreciate you too! --Andy

    Chimney Cap

I had an old chimney with a bucket covering it for years. One of those repairs you just never get around to doing. Finally I called A & A Masonry to come and do the job. Arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and did an exemplary job for a fair price.

    Thanks Elinor! --Andy

    chimney rebuild, brick replacement, parging

We contacted A and A Masonry to have our chimney rebuilt, damaged bricks replaced near our entryway, and parging performed around the foundation. All of our interactions with Dan and Andy were top-notch throughout the project. We always heard back from them quickly, the quote was clear and did not change, and they cared enough to double-check small details of the job. They also started the project quickly, within the time-frame that we wanted. We are very happy with the quality of their work and we would recommend them highly to friends and family.

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Stephen! We are always pushing for good, fast communication. Glad we were successful for you. --Andy

    Tuckpointing, parging & brick replacement

Was looking for a top notch Mason at a reasonable cost to fix the brick work around the house that had fallen apart over time. Called A & A Masonry and had someone out within 2 days and gave me a solid quote (no extra hidden costs). Within 2 weeks of the quote Rob and his son JR came out to my home and finished the job in 4 days. When they finished I walked around the house and took a close look at everything they had done. They did an outstanding job and went over and above to make sure the work was done correctly and with precision. They did a thorough cleanup and aside from a little dust, one would never know they were here. They are a huge asset to A & A Masonry as they really know their stuff. Thank you to you and them for a job well done from a satisfied customer! I will be rcommending them to my neighbours and anyonenwho asks or requires masonry work. Mona U., Mississauga

    Parging, Tuck pointing

Called A@A and was able to quickly schedule a free estimate the very next day which was great. Dan came by right on time and we did a walk around the house and he clearly explained what needed to be done. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He even pointed 2 areas that required tuck pointing that I had forgotten to mention to the previous company. His quote was within $5 of the other quotes and included the tuck pointing. We were able to schedule an appointment 3days later on a Friday which was perfect. Dwight came by promptly at 7:30 approximately and we did a walk around the house to go over the job again. By 7:45 he was hard at work. It was obvious that Dwight takes a lot of pride in his work. He did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you.

    Parging repair, brickwork repair, tuckpointing

I got an appointment and a quote with a short turnaround after requesting an appointment through the web site. I was still soliciting quotes at the time so Brad followed up with me a few days later to check on my decision. A&A was by far the most responsive of the companies selected from this site that I contacted. A&A was very quick to schedule the job. Dwight, the mason, performed the parging repairs, tuckpointing and crack repairs on August 15 Thanks!

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Martin! Responsiveness is something that we are constantly trying to improve upon, so it's great to hear this kind of feedback. --Andy

    New block and brick work

Following the flood of July 8th 2013, we had to have a chimney removed, and with the rebuild of the basement, found some surprises when a flagstone wall came down. Contacted several companies for quotes . Bill called us right away asked for some pictures to be sent via email. Understanding the urgency of our ask, he and Andy were able to juggle schedules so that all our other work could commence. Rob and his son arrived Sept 16 morning on time and did an incredible job. Rob even spoke to the contractor we've hired to the install a gas fireplace and ensured the work he was doing would be in line with what they required. They did a great job of clean up, working with other crews that were here today. Truly recommend A&A!

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Liisa! We have learned that fast service is somewhat unusual in our business, and have really worked to get wait times as short as possible. I'll pass this along to Rob & Raztis. --Andy
