Reply created 25 Aug 2022I really hope this customer updates this review. First and foremost, the work itself was done and customer was happy. With regards to the sensor anyone that opened the window, even the homeowner himself, would have had the issue happen, which is why he wasn't worried about it (but he won't say that in the review). With regards to the wire, there was a siren inside the return that we didn't see as it was all the way back, so the wires became disconnected, so a couple weeks later when the alarm guy was out to fix the window issue, and came across this issue, that's when we found out, which we took responsibility for and agreed to cover the cost of the repair. There was no way to prove that was broken before and it just makes sense that we did it (accidentally of course) The refund was processed through Stripe (online merchant) and does take about 5-7 days to process. I'm not sure why when there is an issue people tend to exaggerate the reviews, but take this one with a grain of salt. I hope the customer updates this review because we have been in contact as of yesterday and I see the refund has been processed. There is just no way I am able to upload photos to the review, only the customer can. Regardless I've been in business for over 20 years, I don't need to rip anyone off over $167.81 - Like I said, hopefully the customer has some integrity and updates this review in the next day or so once he sees his refund on his credit card. Let's wait and see.
