Reply created 4 Dec 2016Our recommendations are based on many years of experience as Indoor Air Quality Specialists. I have no doubt that your home will be much more dust free now. Thank you Domenic.
Reply created 4 Dec 2016This review I find rather perplexing for 3 reasons. 1) All customers are informed of the possibility of the need for minimal vacuuming upon completion, as copied here from the email sent to D.B.: "•Be aware that duct work is tight but rarely sealed. Once disturbed, dust can leak through joining straps and cleats and fall from on top of duct work. •Duct cleaning includes no sealing procedure. All available measures are taken however, to keep this procedure as dust free as is practicable. Localized household vacuuming may be necessary after duct cleaning." Extrapolation of the acceptance of the appointment therefore means accepting the conditions. 2) The pictures we took clearly indicated a thick layer of dust and dirt that accumulated over 10 years. Perhaps D.B. is tolerant of inhaling dead human skin cells, dust mite feces and millions of tiny insect corpses, but I sincerely doubt that his respiratory system is in agreement. 3) No rebate was offered in exchange for a perfect review. The gift card was our way of saying thank you for your business, and of course, we encourage a 10-star review. As both you and I are seniors, it's unlikely that we shall meet again in 20 years. Thank you for the review D.B.

Reply created 4 Dec 2016Your total bill for $565 included duct cleaning, furnace/AC coil cleaning, sanitizing & HST as per your request, upon clear demonstration of the need for the all services. Furnace/AC coil cleaning is recommended annually. This furnace had obviously not been serviced in the last few years, and the AC coil had NEVER been cleaned, so both services were long overdue. Having our on-site technician perform this service saved vm1 $75, as apposed to a separate trip by another technician, as standard trade costs/visit begin at $120. Indeed, this was money well-spent as regular maintenance will provide a healthier home environment, reduce energy costs and extend the life of the furnace.

Reply created 4 Dec 2016Toronto is a busy city, Mike. Glad we were able to turn up, albeit a wee bit behind time. Duct work is not always predictable in its construction. Our technicians have seen just about everything and know what to look for, but on occasion, even we get a little surprise.
Reply created 4 Dec 2016Thank you for the review JV. We didn't score a 10-star rating with you this time, yet remain grateful for support.
