    Great Communication Quality Work

    Had some shingle damage from a wind storm at the end of last year but due to the temperatures the roof was not able to be reshingled at this time. Once I got the quote and accepted the Danny and his crew took care of me until the spring until the roof could be reshingled making sure there wouldn't be more damage over the winter. During this time we made sure to discuss colour and making sure it was in stock for when temps allowed the work to be performed. The company also honoured the quoted price even though some of the costs had gone up over the winter. Once temps permitted the work was scheduled, crew arrived on time and worked hard. Quality workmanship. Clean up was completed and did a great job. Would highly recommend this company.

    First-Class in so Many Ways!

    After suffering through 12 years of a roof with both poor materials and poor workmanship along with shingles flying off during each wind storm, it was now necessary to have the shingles replaced. It was early December and the window to get a new roof was pretty well closed, but this time I wanted to get it right and not just rely on sales people for my information. So first, I researched to find who provides the best shingles available for Canadian homes that experience harsh winters and high winds. It turned out to be Certainteed and their Landmark Pro lineup. My next search was to find a roofing company that had a solid reputation for installing Certainteed products. After meeting with 4 reputable companies and discussing our home’s needs and possible upgrades, the decision was clear. One company stood out that had the best overall reviews and offered a superior package at a competitive price that included upgrades that the other companies did not include in order to keep their prices down. Roofs on Homes was our final choice. And after multiple discussions with Rich and Danny, watching their installation team at work and seeing their finished product, we know we made the right choice. Right from the beginning, Rich and Danny responded quickly to all of our emails and calls. Communication was quick, clear and welcomed. And we greatly appreciated Danny’s offer to patch up a number of bare spots on our roof to help get us through the winter safely. As promised, in early April, we received a call from Danny. The weather forecast looked promising over the next few days and so we went ahead with the project. The installation team was amazing. From the moment they arrived, they were courteous, focused and went right to work. Their only stoppage was for a 30-minute lunch break. You could tell this crew was knowledgeable and experienced because of the way they worked so well together. Seamless! Having begun at 8:30am, the team was completely finished before 6:00pm and our property was left perfectly neat and clean, with great detail taken to prevent any damage to the lawn and landscaping. And it was nice to hear the positive comments from the neighbours on the street and those passing by. And now, with an outstanding 4-star warranty from Certainteed and the quality workmanship of Roofs on Homes, we can sit back and relax knowing we have a first-class Roof On our Home.

    Highly recommend

    I had 3 quotes come in for my soffiting, facia and eavestrough. Danny was the only one that actually took a ladder to take a close look at the job. Quote came back fast. Work was done efficiently and I cannot believe the clean up impeccable. I would recommend Manny and his team any time. The best guys thanks again. Lynn and John

    new shingles ,plywood , soffit and downpipes

    I own a very old bungalow built in 1960s, I was looking for new shingles ,plywood , soffit downpipes and everything. Received quotes from 3 different companies on homestars but Roof on Homes is definitely the most professional company. Danny, walked me through the whole process, and colour selection. he has a lot of knowledges at the ventilation system and the roof. , he immediately pointed out the ventilation problem of my old house, always super hot in the living room, air conditioning running all the time etc.. which in the beginning I thought it was a insulation problem. The crews were very friendly, they are alway on time, arrived at my house 6am in the morning, worked non stop for 3 days. Every time they finish a process, Danny or manny or tony would be checking to make sure everything is done properly. The clean up was also amazing, I wasn’t able to find a single screw on my lawn! That really shocked me! There are probably companies will do the roof for a little cheaper price, but you don’t know what kind of materials they’re using. Danny is definitely using the best materials and building the best quality. They definitely know what they’re doing. If you want professionalism, worry free. They are the one. I’m very glad that I chose roof on homes. Thank you roof on homes! I’ll be posting some pictures later

    New Roof

    Roof complete in one day. Cleanup was perfect. Very efficient and friendly. Would recommend this company without hesitation

    NEW ROOF AND ALUMINUM

    If you want a quality roof and aluminum, you need look no farther than Roofs on Homes. I found the entire team to be both professional and personable. Although this company's quote was not the cheapest, I am so glad that I chose them because I could not be happier with the quality of the materials and the superior workmanship. The before, during, and after experiences were all excellent. Also, I am confident that if I ever do experience a problem in the future, they will be right there to fix it and that guarantee is priceless! Many thanks to Danny and the entire team!

    Replace shingles

    Great to finally get a job done exactly how it was promised. The crew was on time and worked hard throughout the day. The clean up was done like they were never even there and they ensured everything was moved accordingly so that noting was damaged. The job was completed ahead of schedule and for the price quoted. Awesome job! I would definitely refer you to my friends and family.

    Roof Shingles - Repair or Replace for a Water Leak?

    Rain on the weekend meant drip, drip above my head at night. Got up in the attic to add some buckets, then called a few companies the next day. Was hoping for an easy fix, but prepared for the worst (full roof shingle replacement). Being a weekend, Marie (or Maria?) was the first one to call me Monday AM (today). Although everyone was busy until later in the week, I was pleasantly surprised to get a call back a few hours later, asking if I could be home between 2-5 for CHUCK to visit and assess, as his prior appointments went smoothly and quickly. After arriving on time, with a phone call 30min in advance, he got up on the roof and looked around all over the place. Lifted some black duct tape and said he found the problem. Last guys my wife called years ago didn't even do what they were paid to do!?! Showed me the pictures and discussed options. After Chuck searched around, finding a couple of caulking-only patch repairs, he tells me if this was his momma's house, he'd want to get some new flashing for the 3X valley cracks. And not the cheap standard crap, but a bit thicker. 6" above and 6" below at least, nail and caulk the shingles back down around it. Well, I climbed up on the roof to watch all this and he seemed pretty darn thorough! And clean. And does this guy ever have some interesting life stories!! The most exciting part, having a roofing professional tell me I probably have another 10-15 years for the shingles, that they were looking great!! I really appreciated Chuck's desire to do the right thing. We have the same philosophy about business - treat the customer right, and you'll make more $$ in the long run through referrals and repeat business. I know exactly who I'm calling in 10 years! My new Maritimer Brother Chuck! Thanks man, feeling confident and comfortable with the roof now! PS...I never met Danny, but I hear he's great too...

    Shingle replacement

    I contacted Roofs on Homes and Danny immediately set up an appointment. He arrived when stated and proceeded to review the entire situation. I had some tiles removed with the wind. Danny explained all that was needed gave me an excellent set of pamphlets that explained in great detail the service to be provided. A date was set, based on the weather, but that same day Danny set someone to repair the roof until they could replace it. The previous installers of soffits did not open the roof to provide proper air flow. Danny sent someone to correct this situation. "If I had been at work the day they replaced the roof I would not have known they had been there except I had a new roof." The work was done professionally and efficiently with virtually no mess. By the time they left the entire area around the house was perfect. I would definitely recommend Roofs on Homes to anyone the needed an new roof.

    A whole new roof system!

    I hired Roofs on Homes to perform a complete roof install including new eaves, soffits, and fascia. My experience working with them was amazing and customer service was always at the forefront. Danny and everyone else I interacted with from Roofs on Homes were pleasant, timely, and communicative throughout the entire process. They took time to clearly describe the scope of work and problems with my current roof and were not pushy with warranty or extra items. I was impressed with the package of material provided during the quote including insurance certificates, WSIB clearance, and all the details about the products. I had follow-up questions that were responded to promptly, and the few times I called the office I got through immediately and was able to get the answers I needed from Maria. This gave me a lot of comfort if I had issues down the line, but I doubt this will be a problem as long as I am in the house! Danny gave me ample notice of when the work would start and the crew was on time and professional in every way possible. There were a few unique elements with my roof that were explained to me during the install so I could make an informed decision to ensure I was pleased with the overall look and function. I pointed out where I had previous water issues with a mud room roof install and they described and showed me how they corrected it to ensure I won't have a leak there again. Manny's team with the aluminum was impressive to watch and you could see the pride that the entire crew took in their work. They covered up a few additional spots of my siding with additional black aluminum to ensure the fit and finish would be pleasing longer-term, and this eye for detail made me very happy. All the eaves were checked methodically to ensure the slope was correct, and they performed wonderfully in a heavy spring storm the day after the install. Both roofing and aluminum crews took care to protect everything possible on the property to prevent any damage and were immaculate in the clean-up. I received multiple quotes and decided to proceed with Roofs on Homes and couldn't be happier with the outcome.
