    Excellent Job! Excellent Service! Highly Recommend!!!

    I contacted 7 roofing companies that provided quotes. Learning from past mistakes, I certainly didn't pick the "cheapest" option knowing that in the long-run that could end up costing me much more. I went with Roofs on Homes considering their stellar reputation, not just on Homestars but with BBB as well. Also, not only did they go on the roof to assess, but also provided a detailed description of the work and estimate and provided a list of past clients in the area should I want references or to see their workmanship. Some roofers just slid an estimate in our mailbox without even meeting us. Danny kept me updated through the entire process and always made himself available for any questions or concerns. His crew came and worked diligently to ensure job was completed in a timely manner but were, at the same time, very courteous (including of our neighbors). They left the site spotless clean as if they were never there. Thank you Danny to you and your team! Our roof looks excellent!

    New roof installed

    I was torn between giving this excellent company 4 or 5 stars. Their quote was very reasonable, they were on time and finished the roof installation (and removal of old roof) in 1 day, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. They adequately protected our deck and AC unit from any falling debris and the new roof looked beautiful. I particularly appreciated that they agreed to cover a squirrel "door" on the side of the house, right underneath the roof. This was definitely an extra (for which they didn't charge me) that I would have had some trouble fixing otherwise. (This one-way door was to let squirrels out whilst not permitting re-entry. We had a squirrel problem a couple months before, but within a week the animals had left.) All was going well until Halloween, when it rained throughout the night, and we heard a dripping noise inside. Nothing looked or felt wet but we could definitely hear it in my son's room, pretty much in the middle of the house. On Sunday morning I emailed Roofs on Homes, not expecting to hear from them until Monday, and was very happily surprised when they answered me that very Sunday! And they sent their expert over first thing Monday morning, exactly as promised. I was very impressed with their speed of response. Not only that, the gentleman also did an extra service free of charge (something I had wanted but had not contracted) and that was awesome! If this were the end of the story, I'd give them 5 stars right then and there. Unfortunately, the next time we had a lot of rain the same dripping sound returned. It was coming from around or inside the chimney. I emailed them again on a Monday morning and they were even faster than before! The same gentleman returned and this time he fixed it up for good. I have not had any trouble since. I am very pleased with their speed of response when we had trouble. UPDATE - EDITED RATINGS AND REVIEW AFTER READING ROOFS FOR HOMES RESPONSE: Danny and company, I have changed my ratings from 4 to 5 stars based on your response. I did not know that the weather had to be dry for the caulking to seal; to me this means that you did in fact do everything you could the first time you came to fix the problem and it wasn't your fault that you had to return a 2nd time. You still came as quickly as possible and faster than I expected. Therefore I think it is fair to amend the ratings under this new information.

We appreciate your feed back, unfortunately when we came back the first day we found that your furnace pipe was the cause of a small leak and because it was rainning when Chuck first came, the caulking didn't seal to the aluminum pipe, so we had to come back on a dry day to resolve the issue. With Roofs on Homes we stand behind our workmanship and provide and honour our workmanship warranty, this goes to show you that no one is perfect but we will service and honour our workmanship warranty to resolve any issues that may arise, we appreciate great clients like yourselfs.     Replaced out roof

    Very professional from the estimate stage to the finished product. Very informative about our choices and the workers were very professional, quick and extremely neat! They actually went up onto the roof to do the estimate unlike others we had approached. Even did a patch job till they could come out to actually replace the roof - nice touch!! Would not consider going anywhere else in the future. Thanks Danny and the team!!!!

    New roof

    From the first enquiry Danny was great and promptly came to review and quote. From the time we decided to use Roofs on Homes to when the job was completed Danny kept us informed every step of the way. The installation crew - led by Chuck - were fantastic ! They were punctual and polite and the clean-up was great. I can't say enough about these guys - one of the best contractors we've ever used and we would recommend them to anyone.

    Roofing

    Danny and the team did a great job from the time of the estimate up until completion. The different options and warranties were all explained well. They use CertainTeed shingles which is a highly rated shingle. They were very neat around the property and took care that all was done correctly. They answered well any questions I had during the job. I have already recommended them to neighbours as many will be doing their roofs next year. If you want your roof done right you should consider Roofs on Homes.

    Replace existing roof

    Danny was up front and helpful during the initial quote and negotiation stage (we had three quotes). We never felt like we were getting oversold or pressured and he presented himself in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Chuck and his crew worked hard (we have a tricky roof and the weather was both hot and wet) and they were both respectful and conscientious. Chuck immediately brought any issues to our attention and he always had great suggestions. The finished product looks great and we haven't had any issues whatsoever going on 6 months now. We would highly recommend RoH to anyone looking for top-notch service and workmanship.

    New Roof

    The quote was fast and professional. They didn't even offer the cheap shingles, nothing but quality. The workers were fast, polite and fairly quiet. All in all, I would recommend them.

    New Roof Installation

    We are pleased that our roof was installed within one and a half days. Chuck and his crew worked hard and did a great job at cleaning up at the end of each day. We appreciated that both Danny and Chuck were receptive and accommodating to a couple of minor requests.

    Roof replacement

    I found Roof on Homes through Homestars and am so pleased that we went with them to replace our roof. From the very first meeting with Danny, we were impressed with his knowledge and ability to explain the various options that would meet our needs. We had a lot going on at the house with outdoor work and Danny worked with our schedule to get the work done. Chuck, Norm and the whole crew were amazing. Their attention to detail and work ethic were impressive. Their clean up of our property following the work was second to none. Truly an amazing company and I would highly, highly recommend them. Their reviews are truly a reflection of their service and quality. Thanks Danny and team.

    Roof Vent

    This company had been recommended to us as we needed our bathroom fan vented properly to the roof. I was immediately impressed by their first phone call to schedule the work. The pleasant woman on the phone gave me a window of one hour of time when Chuck would be arriving later that week. When the day came, Chuck called to let me know he was on his way and arrived during the scheduled hour timeslot. He went up and reviewed the situation, came back down and told me exactly what he would need to do and the price. He then proceeded to do the work, which didn't take very long. He also put caulking around the furnace pipe which he noticed was missing. We also talked about the general condition of our roof and provided good information. I was impressed and will definitely have them back to quote on future work.
