    Installation of central AC

    Homestars provided the installation of central air to a new townhouse we purchased. The team arrived on time as promised. Prior to starting the work they discussed the order and explained everything that would happen. Because this was a new install in an older unit there were installation choices we had to make to get the unit to fit. All these choices were well explained as the work proceeded. The job got done very efficiently and we appreciated being given a time for finishing the work that the installation team met. This was very helpful since we had lots of move-in tasks to schedule.

    New Furnance

    I was in market for new Furnace and obtained quotes from many places. Chris from Convertible Heating and AirCon again provided me the best price for a Carrier high efficiency Furnance with an excellent Parts and Labour service for 10 years whereas everybody in competition couldn't beat this price. The installation crew was very nice, answered all my questions, gave some handy tips, took my old equipment away and replaced it with a new furnace in less than 2 hours. I bought a water heater from this company in 2017 and now a furnace. They have got me as a customer for life

    Efficient technician and pleasant experience.

    We had our AC broken for almost a week. We had called Green Ontario as soon as it was broken and they didn't show up until 3 days after--only to be told that it wasn't the thermostat that they installed but the AC itself. We called Special Gas and had them come over on a weekend for a service call only to be told that they couldn't fix it even after replacing a fuse that had blown out. We were given the option to either have it fixed for a quarter the price of a new unit plus taxes or get a new unit. The quotes we were given were quite pricey and I remembered my parents getting a new one from Convertible Gas. I had asked my mom to call them, ask for a quote, and then book us the earliest time possible for a new installation. We were given such a competitive rate and the earliest they can install it was next day, Tuesday--which was yesterday. The technician, Deeter (sp?) called me around 8:30AM to let me know that he was on his way and within 20minutes, he arrived. He ha installed the new unit after 3 hours and tested it to make sure it works and all. All in all, the experience was pleasant and my family can now sleep back in the house in peace (my baby and I had been sleeping at my parents for days).

    Reliable efficient and fair price.

    My AC broke in my home in a heat wave. Other companies were trying to overcharge me for a replacement. HomeStars was very reliable, quick to respond, efficient, and offered a fair price for an excellent unit. The workers were in and out in less than 3 hours, and my house cooled nicely for a party that night. I highly recommend this company.

    New air conditioning

    I was very happy with their customer service and their work. They set up an appointment and were on time and finished their installation in a timely fashion. They explained what they did and what parts were new. I would definitely recommend.

    Replace Faulty Furnace and A/C Unit

    Chris answered our Home Stars query quickly and when I described the problem, he gave me knowledgeable answers and the pricing seemed great. He arrived at the set time and thoroughly described the product, procedure, cost and options. The whole conversation was easy to follow and we felt comfortable dealing with Chris. The crew arrived on time and worked very efficiently to get the old system out and the new one in and operating in a pretty short amount of time. Crew knew their stuff and Tom was very helpful. They cleaned up after themselves and took everything away.

    Carrier Air Conditioner

    Great service and installation would highly recommend these guys. Sam at head office went into great detail explaining the unit and that made our decision easy when it came time to make a final decision.

    Honest & Truly Excellent Service

    Where other major service providers recommended replacing Furnace & A/C (after a home visit), this service provider resolved the issue by providing free guidance over the phone! I am thrilled :-)

    Happy Customer

    Totally satisfied doing business with the entire team of Convertible from the head to installers. They were congenial, respectful and professional from start to finish. I had the misfortune of a rainy day for installation of a furnace, a/c and hot water tank and dreaded the fear of a mess/mud in my house, which was unfounded due to their red carpet treatment literally (covered my floors and stairs). The installers, Rick (supervisor), Mike and Jesse took their time; did a thorough job and did not rush through it for the sake of expediency. They also took the time to explain things to me and answered my questions to my satisfaction. Sam (the owner) and his son, Chris were very helpful and pleasant in their advice for the best equipment for my budget and were very honest, and good with their prices (did not have to haggle with them and there was no sale’s pressure). All in all, they take away the unpleasant experience of uncertainties...will definitely recommend to family and friends. Happy Customer

    AC instillation

    Im very satisfied with my experience with Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. The service person I’ve had visit the house from Convertible has been extremely competent and well mannered, and the service itself overall was amazing.
