    Furnace

    Robert in Hamilton, I am very happy with my new high efficiency Amana furnace. Everyone from Sam to Christopher and the installers Branden and Josh, were very helpful in making me feel comfortable with every step in the process. I am highly recommending this group of very professional and caring individuals to all my friends and family. Rob Ps, a special thank you to Marnie for all your help.

    New Water Heater Install

    Reliance raised my rental cost again so I decided to install my own. Convertible had a sale so I called and spoke to a very knowledgeable chap, Chris. His quote (from the sale) was $400.00 less than another quote for an identical unit. The install techs had the old one out and new one in in about an hour, and moved the old one to the driveway for pick-up by Reliance. Good price, good service, excellent 8 year parts and 2 year labour.

    New furnace/ac

    Convertible Air were a fantastic company to deal with. I made an appointment to have an in home consultation and was lucky enough to have someone available later on that day. Michael showed up and he could jot have been more of a professional straight up sales representative. He responded quickly to my requests for different quotes with different equipment. The pricing was super competetive and reasonable. We ended up selecting the upgraded American Standard system (quoted at my request, Michael suggested a less expensive system by Goodman which would have been a suitable replacement.) The installation was scheduled a few days after the quotes were reviewed and accepted. Convertible uses their own in house installers rather than contracting the work out. The team that showed up were polite, funny and professional. They worked from 9 am until the install was finished roughly after three. Everything was cleaner after they left than before they arrived! I will definitely be recommending anyone I know in need of any hvac work to call Convertible air for a quote!

    New Furnace Installation

    Convertible installed our tankless water heater about 10 years ago so we didn't hesitate to call them for a quote when we needed a new furnace. Their prices were very reasonable and their technicians, Adam & Adam, did a fantastic job with the installation. I was pleasantly surprised at how careful they were with my home and how clean they left it. We have recommended them in the past and will continue to do so in the future.     Furnace and Humidifier Replacement

    Our old mid efficiency furnace was getting louder every year and finally decided to replace it. We're quite happy with the work Convertible did. Marnie is knowledgeable and gave me a sense that she really cared about the professionalism of the work that they will do, which is seems apparent in the success and longevity of this family run business. Installers Adam and Adam were great too. They answered all the questions I had and was skillful enough to put the vent pipe through this narrow part of my wall between a window and garage to save me the hassle of running it through the garage. This saved me some money in extra materials. They cleaned up the area nicely and the new furnace runs smooth and almost silent. Thank you for the excellent work. We would definitely recommend Convertible for any furnace work.

    Central Air Conditioner (CAC) replacement

    I am a 3peat customer of this company, since 2006. Needed to replace my old cac unit, didn't do any comparative checks just called convertible heating and ac, because I knew they would have a good price. Called Sam, who gave me a quote over the phone for an Amana CAC, and had Chris come by to give me the hard copy of the invoice etc., handled the gov't. rebate, agreed to install it when we were ready (because we had other work going on), but agreed to remove old cac prior to installing new unit later (i.e. made 2 trips). They performed the new install as requested by us a few weeks later, had a mix-up with the coil, called late evening and they replaced it within a day or so (by Dieter, who did a good job), third trip. It's been a couple of months since they performed the installed (because I thought I had already submitted this review eh...). I certainly recommend them.

    Amana distinctions furnace

    Recently bought and installed a furnace with convertible air. Fantastic service from start to finish. Very knowledgeable about the product and the installation was a breeze and very professional. Very satisfied with Convertible Air.

    HVAC, A/C, WATER TANK

    Why not hire Convertible for heating and air (and water tank)?? They've been around for a long time, and being a family business is just a testament to why they do what they do. Chris came and explained everything in simple terms, within a week i had guys here who were so efficient, friendly and fast! If/when i ever need this type of work done again, they are the ones to call! THANK YOU ALL!!

    Tankless water heater emergency repair

    Our tankless water heater was leaking and Convertible responded very quickly to our call. The problem was solved the same day at a very reasonable rate. Thank you Raj for the professional and friendly service!

    Annual inspection of gas-fired appliances (furnace, hot water tank, fireplace and stove)

    Convertible once again was a pleasure to work with. It was easy to set up an appointment for the annual inspection of my gas-fired appliances to ensure that they are in good working condition and guard against potential carbon monoxide leaks. The technician, Tahir, who had serviced and installed for me in the past, arrived on time and inspected the appliances. In addition to the inspection and maintenance, for each one he gave me some helpful tips that I appreciate: - Fireplace - Showed me how the battery replacement under the unit is awkward and what to watch out for when doing so. - Stove and oven - Pointed out that there are no safeties when turning the dials so gas will continue to come out if the ignition point is passed. He also advised me that carbon monoxide can have subtle, long-term effects so it's important to always have range fan on when using the stove or oven and ensure that the filter is clean. - Hot water tank - Noticed that the water is very hot so he showed me how to turn it down. - Furnace - Reminded me to get a new filter since a full filter can damage the DC motor.
