Chris was actually familiar with the hydronic system, it's performance and efficiency, and who could definitively tell us what the best replacement options would be. He was also patient with my questions and directed me to the website with more information on the manufacturers they deal with. Based on the information and quotes, we decided on a standard high-efficiency furnace and tankless hot water system.
The installation crew members were very friendly, and were happy to talk to my very excited toddler, who wanted to know what was going on. They were careful taking out the old equipment and bringing in the new, and they left the space clean and tidy when they left. The workmanship appears neat and tidy, with the pipes sealed and supported, and they were careful to measure and plan the exhaust vents to ensure they are to code.
