    Replace old Central AC

    After meeting with several other companies we met with Mike from Convertible. Although our 1.5 ton AC was still working it was 13 years old, inefficient and expensive to run. Mike recommended a 2 ton unit wit a 13-14 SEER rating. We had quotes from others that ranged up to $4500 more because everyone said they needed to change our 40 ft line set. This would require tearing out a drywall ceiling and part of our deck and then we would need to hire a contractor to repair it later. Convertible confirmed that since there was nothing wrong with the line it could be properly suctioned clean and reused. As seniors on a fixed income this was good news indeed. Dieter did the installation the next week, and when there was a problem that was the result of a manufacturer deficiency he quickly returned to make it right. He was great to work with. The only reason I am not giving a 10 is that I wish we were upsold a bit for a quieter model. Not that it is overly noisy but we live in a townhouse where everyone's AC unit is audible to neighbours and the unit is right beside our deck

    Central Air Install

    My dad recommended Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning after having both installed at his house. Dieter was the tech. that came and installed my central air conditioner. He was very professional AND he even came out on his day off to install it. Very happy with the install on the August long weekend 2016. Enjoying the coolness of my new central air conditioner.     Air Con Installation

    In this hot summer, our old air conditioner finally decided to stop working. My husband did a lot of research before we call convertible for quotation. The sales representative Michael is so considerate as we did change the scheduled time a few times. And when he came for quotation, he gave us two brands for option according to our requirement. No hard sell at all, and even more he also gave us some advice on our other appliance. He managed to prioritize our installation as we have a little one at home. So appreciated! And the technician Dieter came on time, even a little earlier than promised time. He installed very professional and carefully, without bothering us at all. After installation, he also gave us some very helpful advice on air conditioner using and maintenance. The whole project has been done perfectly and within promised time. And he cleaned up all the packaging and garbage before leaving. Wonderful experience with Convertible, definitely will come back to Convertible if we need to change our furnace next time.

    New Air Conditioning Unit

    We purchased a new AC unit a few days ago and were very impressed with Marnie, the associate who sold us the unit. She was very understanding about our situation (I'm 8 months pregnant during a heat advisory) and set up the installation for the next business day. The Amana product is outside our bedroom window and is very quiet. So far so good. We were not completely satisfied with one of the two technicians installing the unit. He almost set our grass on fire with a lit cigarette, left his coffee cup in a flower pot, and wasn't very clean inside the house. We never expect contractors to take their shoes on and off but I do appreciate a wipe on the mat to remove dirt. Overall, we are satisfied with the customer service and Amana product. Some contractors just need to take a little more care.

    New central Air Conditioning

    The crew from Convertible Air Systems arrived on time. They did an excellent job of removing the old a/c unit and installing the new high efficiency unit. They also took the time to explain the operation of the unit and how to apply for the warranty.

    A/C American Standard - great choice

    Well I wanted a larger unit than the Lennox we replaced that would work less often, run smoother, and last longer. Sandy the owner recommended American Standard, the salesman recommended American standard and even more important to me is that the installer told me that of all the brands they install he recommends American standard. He told me that I would be amazed as to how quiet the unit would be and he was correct. It also pumps out very cool air cooling down the house quickly. Electricity costs a lot of money so the less the A/C runs the better on my pocket. So far so good, and now we will have.. Happy Wife...........Happy Life, as she is the one who needs it cool.

    Air conditioning unit installation

    We had our old (1988) air conditioning unit replaced with a new one. Convertible H and Air Conditioning Inc was quick to respond to our request for quote. Installation was quicker than expected and our unit was up and running. The service was excellent and the payment options were good. They accepted payment by installment so as not to burden us. Price is reasonable. Sales person is approachable. Technicians were knowledgeable and they work clean.

    Services

    We had Convertable Heating and Air install our air conditioning. The installers showed up on time and were very professional. We had our air conditioner set up and running in 3 hours. We had a very positive experience!

    Air Conditioning Purchase & Installation

    Installation was done quickly & efficiently, only a few days after arranging with the salesman. Purchased an Amana 2 ton, 16 seer. Got several quotes and the price was by far the best out there.

    New Air Conditioner Installation

    Our 11 year old air conditioner packed up and we needed a replacement so began our search for a company who could supply and install a new one for us. Having received quotes from several contractors and major suppliers, we chose Convertible Air. The salesperson Marnie was excellent to work with. She was informative, punctual, and responsive. I would gladly do business with her again. The service technicians Adam and Adam were very good, and it is obvious they are skilled tradesman. They arrived on the day of install on time, and worked in a very organized manner. They cleaned up well afterwards, and were considerate of the property while working. A very professional job was done. Overall I rate Convertible a 10/10 for their service so far.
