When it was time to replace my old furnace and air conditioning unit I did a lot if research on different companies. After 10 different estimates I choose Convertible. I am very happy with the installation and the service and would recommend them to everyone. They are fast, easy and efficient.

When I decided to convert from an oil to gas furnace and also purchase a new A/C as well as a tankless water heater, I contacted a number of companies and received quotes which were higher in price than Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning. Aside from price, what impressed me was the non-pressure product presentation by Chris.He and other members of the Admin team (Sam, Marnie, and Grant) were very patient and informative in answering my many follow-up questions in subsequent phone calls regarding the various products available, how the installation could best be done in my home, and the after care once the products had been installed. ( I guess I am the sort of fellow who needs lots of reassurance. lol) They even did the paperwork for me regarding my extended warranty with Rheem and my OPA rebate! Dieter was the technician who installed my HVAC appliances. I found him to be very conscientious in his work ethic and he strived to make me a satisfied customer . He overcame the challenge of having to deal with some old piping issues in my house when hooking up my appliances. Overall, I am happy that I chose Convertible as the company to do business with. I highly recommend their services and look forward to remaining as a long time client with them in the future.

After receiving a ridiculous quote for a new A/C unit, I called Convertible and they showed up and provided a quote that was more than half for the exact same unit. Dieter showed up right on time and did a fabulous job. We have an old house so he/I was worried that the coil would have to come through the bathroom wall since it was not accessible. However, he managed to get it out and completed the job without any issues. Highly recommended.

We recently had a new Furnace, Air Conditioner, Humidifier and Air Cleaner installed and it is with the greatest satisfaction that we recommend Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. Our replacement was not an emergency situation and we had the time to extensively research products by brand name and specifications. We developed a good idea of what we wanted and met with a few contractors to review our needs. From the very first phone call to get a verbal quote, Marnie was very professional and answered all questions with detailed information. During her site visit to confirm our needs, she listened to all our requirements, suggested options, was very generous with her time in answering our numerous questions and gave us a very competitive quote. We decided on an American Standard system. Installers, Kamil and James, arrived on time and did an excellent job on our installation. They reviewed with us all aspects of the installation and gave consideration to the layout of our furnace room area when deciding on the best options to run all the necessary piping and exhaust ductwork. Overall, the job was done very professionally, neat and aesthetically pleasing. The pride they took in their work was evident. We especially appreciated Kamil’s recommendation of using a Low Profile Termination Kit on the outside wall which eliminated the unsightly 3” vent pipes. Due to some minor problems, our installation process took longer than anticipated and both Kamil and James agreed to return on their day off to complete the job. Our overall experience with Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning was very positive. We felt that we were dealing with a company that not only cares about our home heating and cooling needs; but a company that truly cares about its customers and the services that they provide. We look forward to enjoying our new Air Conditioner and Furnace system and a long association with Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning.

I would recommend Convertible Heating and Air to anyone. Great people to deal with and job was done very professionally. The price was so much lower then Direct Energy that I was skeptical at first but after talking with Marnie she put my mind at ease. Please don't hesitate give them a call today I'm glad I did.

Of course our air conditioner broke down in the middle of hot week during the summer! Sean came out to the house the very next day to give us an estimate on several different types of models. Given that our furnace was also about 20 years old, we decided to replace this at the same time as well. With my dad being a heating and cooling expert, we had several technical questions about how the equipment would work. Sean was very patient, and took the time to research and answer all of our questions in a very timely fashion. Even though it was clearly a very busy week for them, Sean was able to make arrangements for the technicians to come and install the equipment a day early so it would not interfere with our vacation. We were very impressed with Sean's customer service. On the day of installation, the guys arrived early (bonus!) and were able to finish the job sooner than they had anticipated (another bonus). They were clean and courteous and very knowledgeable. Sean followed up within 24 hours to make sure we were happy with the installation and the equpiment--which, of course, we were! We would highly recommend Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning!

After obtaining quotes for all of the "Big Boys", I called Convertible Air. I found out about them from a flier in my local newspaper. They were able to give me a quote over the phone and their price was nearly half the price I was getting from other contractors. I asked Sam why their price was so low. He told me that July is typically a slow month so every year they have this sale. He told me that he's only making a few hundred dollars off of each install. This way he can keep his crew busy and he doesn't have to let anybody go. He said he has a good group of guys working for him and he doesn't want to lose any of them. We agreed and I price over the phone, I even got a discount on a humidifier, and set an installation date. On the morning of the installation date, I received a call from Dieter letting me know what he would be there in 30 minutes or so. He was prompt and polite and got right to work. I just showed him where the electrical panel, furnace, and air conditioner were and left him to it. He re-graded the ground where the old A/C was and laid a new patio stone. He had to work some of his magic to get the humidifier to fit properly, but he did it! After he cleaned up, Dieter gave me a tutorial on how to operate my new equipment. All-in-all it was a very pleasant experience and I am going to call on them again when it's time to get my ducts cleaned.

I had my new air conditioner installed by a technician named Dieter. I found it a pleasant experience because he was very knowledgeable, on time, and he did a great job answering all my questions and concerns. I plan on getting a new high efficiency furnace and when I do, i will most definitely go to Dieter and his company to have it installed. Thanks!

We selected the company based on proximity to our home, availability of Goodman units and Homestars reviews. The sales rep who visited our home was on time, polite and provided us a no pressure quote. We had done a lot of comparisons and their quote was by far the best. We have been using the unit for two months now without issue. Very happy with it. Minor comment, the packaging materials were left behind after the install. Scrap wood and cardboard at the side of the house in the furnace room. I would have liked that to be removed with the install. Overall, would still recommend them.

Great prices and excellent service. I've been shopping around and comparing prices for these appliances for a while before deciding that this company is the best in GTA in terms of service quality and price. All three appliances were installed by Dieter in 1 day and professionally done! The price was great, and the owner Chris even gave me a no-nonsense flexible payment plan!
