    Heat Pump Installation

    Replace Furnace and AC

    We needed to replace both our furnace and A/C unit. We saw an ad for Convertible and decided to get a quote as they were highly rated on Homestars. Our consultant Michael came out and discussed various options with us. We received detailed quotes that were significantly lower than the ones we received from the company we had used previously. The installation went very smoothly. The 2 installers showed up on time and were very friendly and courteous. They were very careful when working both inside and outside our home and didn't leave any mess or damage. We are very happy with both units as they are more efficient and much quieter than our old system. Overall we are very happy with the service , communication and equipment we received from Convertible and will recommend them to others.

    Heating and AC

    Last March my heating and AC units needed to be replaced searching through ads I come across convertible heating I contacted and spoke with Chris it was courteous professional by phone. We arranged to have an appointment so he can see the job site upon arriving he had scoped the area of work and gave me three to four options he was courteous professional and there was no pressure to buy he had told me to think about it for a few days and if I was interested call back. That I did we arranged and install date and the installators were on time courteous and very helpful in giving me hints on how to operate the units they cleaned up all the old material removed it from the site and left the place spotless. I am very happy that I have found convertible heating to make my home life a comfortable on e. In late August I called Chris at convertible heating again because of my past experience with him I called upon his professionalism as my mother living downtown needed to replace her boiler, again he was courteous helpful and professional and gave me the options... an appointment was set up for installation and another job well done as a repeat customer I will definitely pass on the good word of the company fantastic people

    Home Installation of AC

    Service was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Marnie was great in providing prompt turnaround in the installation of our new AC. The technicians were very thorough and professional. We highly recommend Convertible. We used them 12 years ago for our furnace, and today for our AC.

    Fantastic Service and Install

    I was first in the market for an AC unit after ours broke down. Our home systems insurance company sent over Adam from Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning to check out our old system and then later informed us that the repair would not be covered due to our old AC being out of R22 freon. I called Adam about the situation and he put me in touch with our sales rep Chris. Chris informed us about all of their AC unit options and provided me with different options for my best choice. I then went calling around to other companies for quotes. Along my journey, I learned about Heat Pumps and the rebates that the Ontario government is giving back to homeowners for specific system installs. Two companies that I asked about heat pumps quoted me between 10k - 11k for the installation and were very pushy and used tactics to encourage me to make a hasty decision. After that experience, I called back Chris from Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning, asked him about Heat Pumps, and said that I just learned about them and some of their benefits. Again, he provided me with many different options in a way that was informative and non-invasive. He also explained to me how the HEAT KING model of heat pumps worked with all of my previous existing systems, like my furnace and the original copper lines from my old AC unit. The other companies either needed me to install a different furnace or change my copper lines throughout the house from outside all the way to the furnace, causing extensive damage to my drywall throughout the house (and they wouldn't fix the drywall, that was my responsibility). After I was satisfied with the entire process, Chris' quote came in around $1000 less than the lowest quoted price, which was a welcomed surprise. Furthermore, on the installment day, they showed up right on time, effectively communicated the process, and finished a day early. I couldn't be happier with this company and its services! I would recommend them to anyone!

    Tankless water heater Installation

    I called Convertible Heating and Air conditioning the salesman Christopher arrived at the agreed time assessed the location quoted a price explained the benefits of the tankless water heater and gave us the rebates. The installers arrived on the agreed date on time and were very neat and efficient. They explained the upkeep and maintenance recommended. We are very happy with the product and the overall service the company provided.

    Heat pump and furnace install in a 50's bungalow

    Needed to replace a 35 year old furnace and 25 year old AC. Heard horror stories about the cost of heat pumps...Friend paid $12K after rebate. I was referred by a different friend who was really impressed with their install 4 years ago in his house. Chris came out and explained the way the system works, and I had a quote in 15 minutes. Didn't try to upsell the higher end unit, as "it would be overkill...you wouldn't notice a difference". Based on the quote and the referral, I didn't even bother with another quote. Install team was friendly and professional. Explained every step, and cleaned up the work area. The heat pump is SO quiet. Highly recommended. My brother in law is a HVAC tech, and he was impressed.

    Rinnai Tankless Water Heater

    Pete and his crew did a great job with the installation. Their years of experience was evident in how they explained the process from start to finish. They're courteous - I appreciate them for being careful not to leave a mess.

    Tankless water heater installation

    Chris and his team did a great job replacing our rental water heater with Rinnai tankless water heater. Even helped us remove and drain the existing rental water Heater.

    AC Replacement

    Our AC stopped working and within 3 days total, Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning came out, inspected what was wrong, and replaced the unit. They were honest about fixing the unit vs replacement depending on what the issue was. It was determined that due to the outdated unit it needed to be replaced. After speaking with Marnie, she was able to give me quotes on several units, and after determining what was best for us, she had installers at our home by the next morning! We strongly recommend this company for their honesty and quick delivery!
