    Immediate furnace replacement

    On the coldest night this year our furnace stopped working. Within 2 hrs of a call, the team from Aire Max was assessing the problem and determining solutions best for our home and family. They were honest and transparent about what needed to be done and provided recommendations that were appropriate rather than trying to offer more bells and whistles than we needed. Within 12 hrs they were back installing a new furnace. I will call them again his summer to replace my air conditioning unit. Thank you Aire Max Team!

    Max comes through as usual

    I met Max on Boxing Day, 2016. Our furnace, which we inherited when moving a few months prior, decided to suddenly die on us. I called every HVAC company in Durham. Only one answered: Max. He showed up a few hours later, removed the old furnace and installed a new one. Which we'll be forever grateful for and won't forget. This time I just wanted our furnace and humidifier checked. Sure enough, the humidifier filter was clogged up. And the thermostat's batteries needed changing. All minor, but it made a difference. Needless to say, Max has my highest recommendation. I've had some good luck on Homestars, but he takes the cake.

    leaking furnace replacement

    Max repaired our furnace 2 years ago - Reliance not able to provide part to fix. New Years eve and need to shutdown furnace due to gas leak. I called Max 7:30 am January 1 and came at 11 am as promised to check furnace. Explained clearly my options and decided to replace the furnace and install humidifier. Came on time January 2 to replace the furnace. Job very clean. Max even fixed faulty A/C duct installation for free. Very professional, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Will call Max this coming spring to check A/C.

    Fabulous

    I actually found AireMax through Homestars. I was having a furnace issue. I got Max on the phone and he showed up the next morning as promised. He very quickly found the issue and had me up and running within a half hour. I then asked about a remote thermostat, which I had been told was not possible with my furnace. He assured me it was, and came back later that day to do the installation (very quickly, because I had to leave). Perfect, first time. Highly recommended!

    Furnace, Humidifier, Thermostat & Hot Water Heater Replacement

    Because of their already excellent reviews, we contacted Aire Max to have a look at the blower motor in our furnace. Between the time we made the appointment and the time they arrived at our place, our hot water heater also gave out. When Max arrived at our place, he was more than happy to look at our hot water heater in addition to our furnace. Given that both our hot water heater and furnace were 12+ years old, we decided to replace both rather than repair them. There was no pressure or up-selling from Max that lead us down this path. Max was able to schedule us in to replace our hot water heater 2 days after his visit, and our furnace (+ humidifier & thermostat) 6 days after that. Max and his team were knowledgeable and hard working, putting in a 7 hour day on a Sunday to replace our furnace. They were respectful, polite and courteous in our home and left the work site neat and tidy. Both the furnace and hot water heater are working perfectly, and we plan on calling Max and his team back in the spring to replace our A/C.

    Investigation and fixing a furnace problem

    Max arrived very fast - within a couple of hours after my call. He investigated and fixed the problem with my malfunctioning furnace for a decent price. In addition, he did furnace cleaning with no additional cost.

    Furnace or A/C - Max is my go-to every time

    Whether it's repair/service on my A/C units or maintenance on my old furnace, I always trust Max to provide the proper advice, give a fair price and consistently do a professional job. I will wait until he is available (which isn't more than a day or two) before even considering calling anyone else. Thank you very much for your services and honest work.

    furnace

    Our furnace stopped working early December. Contacted Max on Sunday, he came out first thing on Monday and confirmed the motor was shot. We discussed replacing the motor, but given the overall age of the furnace, (15 years +) decided on a new one. Max promptly installed Tuesday. Max installed a new furnace in a complicated retrofit in a 60 year old house- very neatly done, on time for reasonable price. Very professional and well done. You want this guy!

    Furnace Replacement

    Came home late on a Saturday night to discover that the furnace was not working. Called Max due to the number of good reviews and arranged for a diagnostic visit. He determined that the blower was dead. Instead of replacing the blower fan, I opted to replace the builder quality furnace with a Carrier. He and a colleague came by the very next day and did a professional and clean install. Thanks Max!

    furnace repair

    Our furnace stopped working 10:30pm Christmas night. Max was the only person who answered our call and he came out the next morning. Since then we are using their services.
