    Furnace Repair

    My 11 year old furnace has been acting up for three days. I first called a HVAC contractor who tried to convince me a major part needs to be replaced. I was left with two options: $900 for parts replacement or nearly $4000 for a new furnace. That contractor didn't even come to visit. I then found Max on homestars, called on 12pm and he came on 2:45pm. Impressive it was! Within a few minutes he pinpointed the cause - the drain was clogged. The price was reasonable, considering it was a same day service on a snowy day. I would definitely call Max for next service!

    Fixed Heater

    Our furnace broke in the middle of winter. Max came quickly and fixed it in a few minutes. This is the third time that I have used his services and he has always showed up when he said that he would.He seems to have a fairly reliable company and his prices are inline with other companies. N.B

    Furnace Installation

    I am so glad to have had Aire Max come to install a new furnace. I originally called Enercare and their furnaces started at $3500. Max came that afternoon for a consult and then arrived the next morning to install a Lennox furnace for $2500 plus tax. He was professional and did great work. He answered all of my questions before and after the job and explained the differences between furnaces and the options. The furnace he installed has a 10 year warranty on parts and 3 years warranty on labour. I feel very happy to have had such great, prompt service and at such a great price.

Furnace that we install for you is single stage with 95% efficiency also has a bigger blower fan which is helping for better air circulation in you house . Compare to 2 stage furnace just 1 % is less efficient but almost $1000 less and age is longer and has less headache in future.     Hot Water Tank Replacement

    Max is amazing! We discovered our hot water tank leaking on a Friday - we called him on Saturday evening (we were away for the weekend), he came to quote on the Sunday afternoon and replaced it on the Monday! He was knowledgable about the different options for replacement - we replaced a rental hot water tank with a purchased instant hot water unit - and had some really competitive prices. He came on time (actually, 15 mins early), worked hard for 7 hours and left the basement pretty clean. He also took away our rental hot water tank and returned it on our behalf. We will certainly be using him in the future when we need to replace our furnace and humidifier.

    New Furnace Installation

    When our 15+ year old furnace started pumping out cold air instead of warm (on a -20 with windchill day), we found "Aire Max" on Homestars.com Max was very responsive and took the time to explain our options. Unlike a typical salesperson, Max actually recommended an economical single stage furnace, outlining the pros and cons of it versus the commonly recommended dual stage furnace. From a value perspective, it was the perfect fit for our home and budget. He installed it the next day (in what seemed like record time to me), and I'm happy to say that we are now experiencing balmy indoor weather :) I would highly recommend Max, and will definitely call him again for any of my heating and cooling needs!

    Furnace cleaning and maintenance

    Called Max in the evening as my furnace did not hold the temperature. Max promised to come next morning and he was prompt. He did a great job and furnace is working as it supposed to. Thank you Max and I will recommend his services as a very reliable and professional.

    Good advice and professional installation job

    My furnace was almost 20 years and needed to be replaced. I am very pleased with Max's recommendation on hardware choice. They were very reliable and had done a clean and professional installation. Will definitely call for their services when needed in the future.

    Knowledgeable and Trustworthy

    My furnace was working intermittently so I called Aire Max to have a look. He came on a Sunday right on time. He was able to diagnose the problem, replace the part and cleaned my furnace. When you talk to him it is very clear he knows his stuff. He didn't try to upsell me or tell me I needed a new furnace. He was also able to help me with my fireplace. I would highly recommend Aire Max for any gas heating appliance.

    Reviewing old furnace/advising on new furnace

    We called Aire Max Heating and Cooling to evaluate our furnace (a mid efficiency unit) and to advise us on next steps regarding installing a brand new high-efficiency unit. While we haven't yet replaced our furnace, we've already decided that this is the company we'll hire to do the work once we're in position to do so. They were prompt, courteous, and willing to fully explain (in a lay person's terms) what we need to get done to increase the heating efficiency in our home. We're very much looking forward to working with this service vendor.

    Furnace & AC

    I used AIRE MAX three times over the last year for my air conditioner and for my furnace. Service is fantastic. I texted early sunday morning, got a response shortly, and was over to fix the problem within 3 hours. Diagnosed the problem efficiently, and recommended little things i could do to prevent further issues & costs, all without me asking. I will def use again when needed!
