The home air conditioner was leaking water where it is attached to the furnace. Called one contractor and their mailbox was full. Called another contractor and they were booked up for at least a week. Called Max and he tried to tell me how to fix it over the phone. I didn't quite understand what I needed to do, so he said that he would come out, but that he would have to charge me for a service call. It was 6:30 pm and Max said that he would be their about 8:00 pm. Max showed up and fixed the problem, which was a plugged up outtake valve. Max responded to my call when I thought it might be a week before I could get anyone out. For that level of service I have to give Max 5 stars. I would definitely use him again, plus recommend him to a friend.

Great job, he was able to come out say day within a few hours. Changed out some pieces, cleaned out the unit and topped up the freon to get the unit back in the best conditions possible. Checked in and let me know what was going on along the way, also worked fast and hard and make sure everything was put back when finished. I appreciate the help!

The air conditioning unit on a 2 year old home wasn't working properly during this heat wave. I called Max on Sunday night and he was able to fit in a service call for Monday. He topped up the Freon level, and explained the most likely reasons for it being low. He also adjusted our blower motor speed and gave me some insight and answers to HVAC questions I had. I'd recommend Max and I plan on having him back for annual check ups and maintenance on our system.

I was referred to Max by a friend. Called Max and he said he would be able to that come and take a look at the A/C that night. He is very knowledgeable and was able to trouble shoot the problem right away. Apparently the brackets on the A/C motor broke. Max tried to save me some money by trying to put on another bracket so I wouldn't have to buy a new motor. Unfortunately, it didn't work, but the act shows his honest and and genuine nature to help his customers save money. I am extremely pleased with Max's service and would use him again. Highly recommended!

Max arrived at my place on schedule. He's a genuine individual and provided explanations as he worked along. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone who needs their furnace looked at.

I hired Max to repair my AC unit after the starter broke down. Max is super responsive to calls and is the most punctual handyman I have EVER met. He is courteous and VERY professional. His price was the lowest quoted after I called around. The repair was done in a timely fashion and he got my AC up and running in no time! :) Thank you Max. Would not just recommend him to family and friends, but he is the first one I will call in the future when I need a repair done.

We selected Airemax based on the high rates from Homestars and were very impressed and happy with the service he provided. Max did an great job when he installed a Lennox furnace in December and recently repaired the AC unit. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to show and explain the mechanical issues. He provides fair and reasonable quotes/ repair options and completes the work in a timely fashion - he was very punctual and efficient. We would not hesitate to contact Airemax for any future HVAC issues!

I've hired Max since 2012 to deal with our HVAC system. When we first moved in to our house it was the middle of winter and we had a newborn. Our heating broke and we were desperate (in-laws had to drop off portable heaters just so we could keep the baby's room above freezing). I looked on Homestars and called around. Everyone wanted emergency pricing to show up that night (fair enough)... well, everyone but Max. He said he'd show up that same day, his price was half everyone else's, and he arrived exactly when he said he would (is this guy really a trade or FedEx!). He fixed the problem (sensor was dirty and needed to be scrubbed). It cost around $150 and we went to bed that night with heat. I've used Max three more times over the years and I've recommended him to my in-laws (parents-in-law and brother-in-law) and they've both hired him. Most recently, our A/C wasn't blowing cold. I called him and asked when he could come. We agreed on the next day (weekend) at 5pm. He knocked on my door at 5:01pm (honestly, a respectful, timely, and reliable tradesperson is worth their weight in gold). He was outside working on the external A/C unit for about 1 hour in the heat. He fixed it, charged $240, and I had cool air again. What's the point of my story and long review? My point is that Max is reliable, fast, timely, and respects his work and his clients in a way that, unfortunately, can no longer be called typical. I highly recommend Max and, the next time something goes wrong with my HVAC, he will be my first and only call.

Extremely happy with my experience with Aire Max! Both time my AC broke down, they were there within a few hours and found the issue immediately. Extremely patient as I did not know a lot about how ACs worked. Strongly recommend!!

I've had Max do a few things for me and he's been consistently good, reliable and easy. He did a great job installing my AC, he did some maintenance work on gas fireplaces, and most recently helped me trouble shoot a problem. All three times, he's showed up when he said he would and has done the jobs efficiently. I'll definitely call him again in the future.
