We were told by Enbridge that we had a gas leak on a Friday afternoon at 5pm. Someone in my community had recommended Max so I rang him. He came the following morning at 10am and fixed our problem. Max is professional, courteous and highly efficient (and tidy!). I would contact him again and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

We were experiencing some leaking from our furnace, and contacted Max based on homestars excellent reviews. He did not disappoint. Max came to our home on time, and gave incredible service and insight into how and why the problem was occurring followed by a thorough service on our unit to make sure the problem didn't continue. We were experiencing an uncommon odor from our furnace fan/air conditioning after not having it on for a few weeks so I called Max to set up an appointment for the following week, well instead he said he could come within 2 hours of the call. He investigated and noted the plastic inside the motor was starting to degrade and melt from the heat of the motor running, which he said tends to happen as our type of furnace ages over 10-12 years. He noted it was working still working fine otherwise, and didn't push for an immediate fix, but also made sure to mention that he had no estimate about when it may actually stop working. He quoted me on a repair, and I asked about replacement furnaces and gave me a quote for that too. He made sure to mention any additional work that would result (eg. since a new furnace would vent differently than the existing, the old vent still used by the hot water tank would need to be dealt with). I always appreciate service people who will take time to explain what the options are and do a more thorough look around at more than just what you asked for initially. Max was great.

Max took good care of me. He arrived when he said he would arrive. He was a pleasure to work with. He fixed the problem and was quickly on his way. I think his price was fair, although I don't have anything to compare it to. I was pleased with his service

Our air conditioner wasn't functioning properly and I called Max who arrived promptly and give us a range of options. In the end we replaced the unit as it was 20 years old. Max recommended a suitable replacement, showed up when he said he would, replaced the old unit with the new one within the estimated time, left the work site clean and neat and was always courteous, helpful and professional as was his assistant. I've already recommended him to a friend who was also very happy with his work. I wouldn't hesitate to use Max again.

My senior mother's central air conditioning went out last evening with the humidex in the 30s. At 7 AM, I called Sears (a pox upon them) who told me that they no longer repair her 8 year-old! model. They did, however, offer me a service repair number for a company that, so help me, they told me they DID NOT recommend. I noticed Max's reviews at HomeStars and called him at 7:30 A.M. He arrived at her house an astounding 25 minutes later; identified the issue (a broken starter), and installed a new one. The unit ran immediately. At my request Max checked the coolant pressure levels and topped them up; hosed the fins; and inspected the inside system – advising me of a potential problem that could be appropriately addressed at a later date. He was quick, knowledgeable, thorough, and utterly professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Aire Max's outstanding service. Max was quick to respond to my request for a visit and was able to diagnosis and fix our air conditioner right away. It's been working great ever since! I've already recommended him to our neighbour.

I found Max on homestars and asked him to fix our air conditioning as it wasn't working. He was knowledgeable, on time and very professional. We ended up replacing the air conditioning and the furnace. He gave us several options and did not push. His price quote was the best out of 2 other companies I inquired. It took him 11/2 days to finish the job and he cleaned up after. I will definitely call him again or recommend him to my family or friends. Thank you, Max.

Our A/C wasn't working at all. We gave Max a call on a Sunday and he came right out a couple of hours later. He found a leak in the furnace that was shorting out the air condition. He offered to fix the leak or replace the furnace altogether (at a very reasonable price!). We decided that due to the age of the unit, it made more sense to replace. Max was back as soon as he could and did a quick and comprehensive replacement of the unit. The old unit was left out front and Max told us it would be picked up the next day. Unfortunately, whoever was supposed to pick it up...didn't. We called Max while we were out for lunch and sure enough the old unit was gone by the time we got back. I would highly recommend him and have!

Max was very professional and honest. His candid opinion was greatly appreciated and he was patient in explaining what he was doing. He didn't try up selling - just addressed your concerns and questions.
