    Great experience with repair and restoration

    We are totally satisfied with the professionalism and workmanship of this company. Alex provided a clear and thorough estimate of the recommended work to be done to restore our home after some significant water damage to ceilings and walls. He took the time to explain his recommendations and was exceptionally responsive to all our questions. The quote was very fair and the crew arrived promptly on the scheduled start date. Luis and his crew arrived promptly and reliably every day for the approximately 14 days that it took to complete the job. Luis was very responsive to our needs and the two primary workers, jeffrey and Diego, worked very hard and efficiently to complete the job as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality and workmanship. They always were polite and respectful of our property and needs. At the end of each work day, they made sure to clean up as best they could so that our house was left In the best shape possible given the messy nature of replacing.ceilings and walls. Home restoration is never pleasant, but honestly Luis and his crew made the experience more than tolerable. We are thrilled with the completed work and would definitely highly recommend this company without any hesitation.

    Asbestos

    I had a fantastic consult with Aris Rodriguez about asbestos in my home. He was straight forward, incredibly knowledgable and actually advised that it wasn't the time to spend money on the testing based on our plans and timeline with our home. He also advised me on what the next steps should actually be and what questions I should be asking other trades we were having come in and when the right time would be to engage him. I so appreciated his honesty. A solid professional to say the least. Thanks Aris!

    Emergency Response

    Experience a very bad flood due to heavy rain and sewer back up from the streets. Insurance companies for the area were slow to react to all the homes that were impacted. The preferred vendors kept delaying inspection and responsive action. Sadly, the more time it took to get something done, my home was going to suffer and my family would have to wait longer to get back into the house. So, I called Canada’s Restoration Services. PM Roberto came on-site, inspected the damage, and had a cleaning crew start the following day. Refered my neighbour to them and they were onsite cleaning my neighbour’s the one day after. With all the sewage and damage contents removed, my family was able to move back into the house quite fast. Four days after CRS was done (seven days after the flood), one of the insurance company’s preferred vendors called to schedule a clean-up. Three days later (ten days after the flood), the second insurance company’s preferred vendor called to schedule a clean-up. Told them both to....off. Canada’s Restoration Services was quick, fair, and handled the insurance paperwork for me.

    A priceless job

    We had an inspection that identified some mould in a portion of the house and suggested we might need a remediation. When Alex came to talk to us about it he said we could handle it ourselves with a good cleaning. How unusual it is to find such honesty in a company. Hoping we won't need their services in the future but if we did they'd be the first we'd go to.

    Amazing inspection

    We had a bit of mold in the furnace room, after our AC leaked. I had treated the area with bleach, successfully, but wanted to be sure there wasn't any hidden problem. Customer service was above and beyond! My conversation to set an appointment actually made my day better, and Aris arrived promptly to inspect. He is courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely professional - but more than that, he is HONEST! He explained to me exactly how to avoid having the problem in the future and said that we were ok re: the mold. I'm so glad he drove out to see us (we're outside the city). I'd call again in a heartbeat.

    Great company, great management, great workers

    We first used Canada’s Restoration Services (CRS) two years ago when we discovered a mold issue under our kitchen sink. I chose CRS for that job because of their many excellent reviews and I wanted a company experienced with mold. The spores are dangerous when released into the air, and we have a family of asthmatics. The mold had spread under the floor and down to the basement but the foreman, Jon and his team at CRS did a great job. Plus, their financing options made a large and completely unplanned reno job become financially feasible! This spring, when we came home to see water flooding from our bathroom, down the hall and through the floor into our basement, CRS was the first call we made. Jon was on site that very afternoon, and had several large fans and dehumidifiers in place the next day. Unfortunately only the basement flooring could be salvaged. In addition to the vinyl flooring in the bathroom, our laminate flooring in our hallway, kitchen, living room, and three bedrooms was destroyed as it is not tolerant to water at all. (Fortunately, our insurance picked up the tab on this one). The extent of the job made the last one look like a Sunday afternoon DIY by comparison. Virtually every room in our house had to be boxed up, all furniture emptied, and our family relocated to a hotel to replace the floors. The workers were very careful in removing the appliances, toilets, closet organizers, kitchen cabinets, electronics, and other furnishings, so that it could all be put back undamaged and intact. For example, when disassembling headboards, tables, and so on, they were conscientious in taping the hardware to the furniture so it didn’t get lost, and wrapping fragile items to prevent breakage. CRS provided quality packing paper, boxes, storage sea cans, and carefully packed and labelled everything. There were delays on the job, of both the normal and abnormal varieties, such as the PM (Jon) leaving the company unexpectedly and some caused by the flooring company used by CRS. While we definitely were NOT impressed with Action Flooring, the GM of CRS, Jorge made even this work out all right in the end. From the second he became our contact person, Jorge made sure everything went smoothly and coordinated with our insurance company to make sure everything was covered. Although I am certain he had many jobs to look after, Jorge took personal responsibility for our contract when Jon left, and made us feel like we were his most important priority. He was terrific to deal with. Jorge (aka George) was in daily contact with us, even when he was out of the country. He worked very hard to resolve all issues to our satisfaction, with either his workers or the contractors (plumbing, flooring, etc). In short, he did everything possible to get us back in our home, in even better condition than it had been before the flood.

    Laminate Floor on Main Level/Mold Removal, Electrical, Painting & Vinyl Floor in Basement

    After flooding from my main-floor washing machine, I was put in touch with Aris from Canada's Restoration Services. He promptly assessed the job & sent Luis and his crew to replace the flooring on the main level. The men were polite and courteous and a pleasure to be around. They did a great job! Thanks guys! There was also an extensive mold issue in my basement. Aris, from Canada's Restoration Services sent Lester & Oscar, who were very professional, to carry out mold remediation and removal of the damaged floor and drywall that had been affected by the mold. They too were very polite and courteous , working quickly and efficiently. Then Luis and his crew returned to fix some electrical issues along with painting and laying the new vinyl floor. Loved that the job site was always cleaned up at the end of each day - very nice. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was done with excellence. Well done guys! Thanks!

    Great Company

    We had multilevel damage from flooding after an ice storm. CRS and their manager Aris were able to do a quick and very good job in demolishing, drying and reconstructing a soaked kitchen and basement. They were very quick to respond to messages, and were able to keep within the budget they estimated at the outset, which helped us stay within the lump sum given by our insurance company. They even compensated us for a cooktop that was damaged during the demolition process. Overall a very ethically and professionally run company; hopefully we won't need their services again but if I ever do run into flooding, they would be the first people I would call.

    Basement Rebuild after Flood

    Canada’s Restoration Services’ employees and the services they provide are unsurpassed. We were finishing our basement and had just finished putting up all the drywall and ceilings. That same evening, as we connected our hose to our sprinkler, a pipe had burst inside our house and had flooded our entire basement within a matter of minutes. The water came pouring in through the newly installed ceiling and drywall. We called Canada’s Restoration Services first as we have used them before in the past in another city and they were nothing short of excellent at that time. We were immediately connected to Jorge who came over and quickly and thoroughly assessed the situation. He brought in his team consisting of Stephany, James, Donovan, and Alex. They were all so friendly and caring and they all got to work right away by checking moisture levels, tearing out the drywall and the ceiling (and during this process they were very careful and saved as much as they could), and installed heaters and fans to ensure everything was thoroughly dry. The four employees mentioned above were absolutely wonderful. They were very courteous and careful with our home. They ensured our floors were protected every single time they were here, they were polite and very respectful, they completed all their work quickly and thoroughly, and because they even cleaned up the previous contractor’s mess, they left our basement in better condition that how they found it. Jorge, who was overseeing the entire process, consistently called to check in and would personally come by (even though he was leaving his own personal engagements) and would assess how the rebuild was progressing. He rarely had to make adjustments as the four above were excellent in their work but if he did notice something that could be improved, he did not hesitate to tell his team and Stephany, James, Donovan, and Alex were more than happy to make any adjustments so their completed work would exceed standards (and it did!). Alex came and did the restoration on his own. He is nothing short of an excellent, hardworking employee. He was meticulous in his work. He had such a warm and caring personality that made it easy to trust him in our home when we were not there. He consistently showed up on time, ready to work, and took care of our home as if it was his and showed absolute respect for every member of our family. On the day he finished working for us, he even assisted my husband with cleaning up prior to my surprise birthday party! Jorge was extremely helpful in assisting us in dealing with insurance. Initially we thought we would pay for this ourselves thinking it would be our fault (first use of garden hose after winter even though all precautions were taken prior to winter), but he noticed that we were simultaneously dealing with a flood in our condo in Toronto as well as being a family with three small kids and one on the way (so I had gone down to working part time). He was very generous in terms of offsetting the cost we would have to pay ourselves if we did not go through insurance and I cannot express enough how much this gesture meant to us at this particular time; it was so truly appreciated. However, we were lucky enough that insurance did cover us and even then Jorge was still very honorable: we had someone that was able to come in and texture our ceiling right away so within minutes, Jorge sent us back our fair amount, no questions asked. This was shocking considering we are still trying to get our money back from our previous contractor. Even after the work was completed, Jorge still came by and made several calls to ensure that everything was to our (and his!) satisfaction. These employees became friends to us in such a short period of time. I would highly recommend Canada’s Restoration Services, and in particular, all of the people named above, to assist with any renovations. They are extremely knowledgeable, very trustworthy, highly skilled and very efficient at what they do. We are so grateful to Jorge, Alex, Stephany, James and Donovan for all that they have done for us and hope to come in contact with them again should we ever need them again.

    Water Damage

    We were so very happy with the service we received from Canada's Restoration Services. We had a flood damage, causing such a mess. The team ensured all our needs were met and that everything would go back to normal in no time. Great work and team!
