    Residential Move

    Responded quickly and scheduled the move from a Port Hope Retirement Home to 2 locations in Toronto in just few days. Professional from the first phone contact until the last piece of furniture was unloaded. Extremely positive experience.

    Packing and Moving

    Cargo Cabbie was great to work with. Booking, quoting, customer service all painless and easy. They were on time, friendly and pleasant. I will say though that if you are using their packing services, monitor how much it packing material is being used. So much unnecessary paper and plastic. And too many boxes. So much more could have been packed in boxes. Ridiculous. But they get to charge more for all materials used. Also, they didnt properly estimate the truck size so the movers had to make two trips. I should not have been charged for that, the extra hourly charged time. Also, I was told it would be four movers but then it was only 3. Might have been quicker with 4 as planned. They were good, Id use again and recommend them but I would properly supervise packing and not trust their recommendation on truck size.

We try to be mindful of this and pack as efficiently as possible, but I understand that it can be frustrating when there seems to be too much packaging. Our team does their best to estimate the correct amount of materials needed for each move, but unfortunately sometimes they are not able to get it perfect. I'm also sorry to hear that our team didn't quite meet your expectations with regards to the number of movers sent on your move. This can sometimes happen when we have several moves scheduled in a short period of time and we do our best to send additional manpower when necessary.     Self storage move

    Third time using cargo cabbie and they do not disapoint. I hired two cabbies to move some stuff out of a self storage unit back in July during an extreme hot day. They are the best. Thank you again. Lee

    Outdated Payment Process

    After paying the initial order for moving supplies, I was asked to provide credit card information including security code over the phone. I expressed my concern with providing detailed credit card info over the phone and canceled the order. This is a huge red flag as no company should be requesting customer credit card information over the phone. This is a huge security risk for any person looking to use their service, and the company seemingly does not seem to prioritize good business practice by having in place a secure methods for customers to provide their payment information.

Since we started this company 12 years ago, we have never had any issues with security and have always taken the upmost precaution with our client's information.     Moving an Antique Cabinet

    I needed to move an antique dining room cabinet from one house to another approximately 25 km away. It is more than 120 years old, and has several large curved glass windows that are irreplaceable. They knew exactly what to do, how to wrap the cabinet up, and how to ensure that the glass windows were not damaged. They arrived exactly when they said that they would. The cabinet was moved quickly and successfully. The only negative is that the insurance clauses in their contracts, as they apply to antique items, are not clearly articulated, and would have benefited from a pre-move discussion. Regardless, no insurance claim was necessary and I am extremely satisfied with their service.

    Office move

    John and Sebastian arrived on time. They were both polite, hard workers and got the move done in a quick and timely manner.

    Book these guys for your pack and move!

    Cargo cabbies are the real deal! Before, during and after the pack & move, the client experience was seamless. It is a white glove service with constant communication throughout the process. They arrived and left on time on both days and the lead packer / mover each introduced themselves (thank you John and Ryan!) and the whole team, and provided their contact numbers. All movers were friendly and respectful of the properties and contents being moved. Cargo cabbie operate their business the way youd want them to - for example, they itemize everything they use for both the pack & move (boxes, wrap, materials, etc). My final invoice ended up slightly below their estimate because they used fewer materials.

    Packing, furniture removal and declutterimg

    I needed help again friom these guys and as always in the past. As the task was overwhelming, I used their packing service. The team showed up on time, were prepared with all tne packing materials and made short work of packing up my garage contents, reorganizing and disposing of unwanted furniture. 10star sevice!
