After interviewing a few companies, I chose Five Star Painting because of the professionalism and solid contract they provide stating their responsibilities and guaranteeing the quality of the paint job. The painter, Hamid, completed the job on his own for 3 days. I am a perfectionist and he was able to satisfy any request that I made. I would highly recommend Five Star if all of their staff is anything like Hamid.

Sohail provided me with a quote in a very timely manner. I like that the quote provided me with the useful and appropriate options (with ceiling vs no ceiling, with kitchen cupboards vs no cupboards), which helped me budget accordingly. They put me in touch with a FANTASTIC paint and colour consultant (Marife) who took the time to visit our home to get to know us and recommended paint styles, colours, and options that meets our personal style, needs, and budget. (NB: This service costs extra but I highly recommend this - and ask for Marife - especially if you are already forking out big $$ on a whole-house paint job). Five Star Painting works with subcontractors, and our project was assigned to Adil and his team. I can't speak for other subcontractors, but I definitely recommend Adil. He and his team were very courteous, and professional. I had one minor beef: one of the guys used my bathroom sink to rinse off the paint brushes. Although they didn't stain or ruin the sink, I just didn't like the idea, but after I told them I didn't like it, they were perfectly fine and followed my instructions to use the utility sink. Another thing I really liked with Adil's team, is that before they started, they made sure I protected my furniture (this is the owner's responsibility and is explicitly stated in 5-star painting contract). Although I covered up most of my big furniture, I had forgotten about my bed and dresser, and one of the guys pointed it out and said that he cannot start the room until it's covered. I was very appreciative of that. They finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. Adil also kept repeating to us that if there is ANYTHING at all that we find we weren't happy about, to call him and said they would come back to fix it. We were, in fact, extremely happy with the job and didn't have a need to call him to come back. Over all, 5-star painting gets 5 stars from us.

We found Five Star Painting on the internet. As soon as I met Sohail, I knew we had found the right company. He was on time, professional and thorough. There was one glitch in the job when the designer missed our scheduled meeting but more than made up for it when we got together a couple of days later. The painters were friendly, professional and finished the job exactly on schedule. Great company to deal with!

we waited about 3 years to get this major job done consisting of 3 floor hallway and ceiling due to the amount of wallpaper we had removed and repaired. When we were ready for painting we discovered Five Star and their professionalism and dedication as well as great communication and time frame to get the job done influenced our decision. Workers were very friendly and their work was done in a professional manner. Everything was done in one day which was amazing without comprising on quality.

I used this website to find painters in my area to paint the walls at the entrance hallway, the stairway and upstairs hallway of my home. Sohail called to look at the job in a timely manner and I was so impressed with his professional quote and polite demeanor that I felt comfortable in giving him the job without following up on other estimates. I had already painted the trim so when the painter (Will) came to do the job he only had to put two coats on all the walls, one colour. I couldn't be more satisfied with the results, and more importantly my wife is happy! Thank you Will, for a job well done.

The workers came prepared and were flexible when changes had to happen. The work was well done, they were respectful, friendly, painted clean lines, did not leave a mess and worked very long hours when needed.

Mike Otani and his team did a first class job painting our small office. They showed up when expected and finished a little faster, minimizing the disruption to the office. Great Job!

From start to finish I was extremely pleased with the customer service I received from Five Star Painting. Will ( painter) did an outstanding job patching up previous contract work that was not done correctly. His workmanship was flawless and Will always left the rooms tidy and clean. It was a pleasure working with this company and I would contact them for future work!!!

Fast response to request from Sohail - very professional quotation. Painter was pleasant, worked hard, and finished within the timeframe quoted. Easy communication, constant feedback and updates. Good follow up to correct areas pointed out as requiring additional attention. Great service!
