Bathroom builders was refffered to us by our painting contractor. Sammy provided us with a decent quote and explained us the details of the work very professionally. He arranged an interior decorator to help us pick all our stuff. The work started a little later than anticiapted because of the deliveries from teh supplier but was completed quickly. The crew was pretty responsive to our needs and clean. My overall experience was nice!

Mike's team did a great job painting exterior areas of our bungalow after power washing all surfaces. The painters were efficient, careful and very reliable. Next time I have some painting I would not hesitate to hire 5 Star again.

After careful evaluation, Five Star Painting was selected to paint the offices at the Weather Radar Research Facility. We were very satisfied with the professional attitude and workmanship of Mike and his team. In addition, the work was scheduled to meet our tight deadlines and extra touch-ups were no problem for them to do. Thank you to Mike Otani for a job well done!

The 2 painters, Adil & Ron, did a great job of ceiling, walls (entire height of house) and trim and were very careful with their work. I had Five Star come for a small exterior job (garage door and exterior window trims for bay window) as well as some interior painting (doors, trim, hallways & living/dining room walls). From my experience, this company is relatively affordable and reliable (they show up when they say they will and try very hard to keep within their time frames). You can also tell that they strive for customer satisfaction. The only tip is to make sure that you inspect the work carefully, I find they can tend to be a little sloppy with the finish but I have had no issues either time with them fixing the areas that I pointed out.

One major part of the project was restoring our large deck. Of the many deck-restoration companies we contacted, Five-Star Painting was one of the very few willing to do the job due to the difficulty involved. The difficulty, and Mike's recommendation, was that the deck surface required thorough sanding of the surface and re-painting using a wear-resistant paint. The sanding job proved to be difficult because every nook and cranny had to be cleared of old paint. The sanding took considerably longer than anticipated and Mike's crew did a splendid job. At their recommendations, a few wooden boards of the deck had to be replaced, all at reasonable additional expense. Mike and the crew were always very patient, highly professional and very courteous with us (we are demanding!). Mike recommended a particular deck paint that has indeed proven very durable. The painting finish on the deck was excellent. Mike's crew also painted our garage door and selected parts of the house. The finish quality was fantastic throughout. We recommend highly Mike Otani and his crew of Five-Star Painting without any reservation.

We wanted to upgrade our bathrooms for our customers. We were impressed with what Sammy presented and the assurances he gave. He also arranged for some strong references. The work was done well and as per schedule. Both the bathrooms were scheduled individually over the weekends and were done within the time frame committed therefore without any disturbance to our workshop customers. I apprecaite the quality of work and service.

Everything was first class. The people were nice professionals. Everything was done to facilitate us. The colors that the color consulattnt picked for us were wonderful. The house looks great.
