    Waterproofing a 100-year old home (Upper Beach)

    After dealing with years of efflorescence on our brick basement walls from leaking we decided it was time to fix our foundation before it was too late. After asking around the neighbourhood and hearing nothing but good things about Aquatech, we called them. Their quote wasn't the cheapest, compared to some others, but we knew that reputation was worth the little bit more. Nico provided us a detailed quote on wrapping the foundation, and adding a sump pump. And, despite us waiting a year to do the job, our original quote was still honored. From day one of the job start until the last, Terry and his team (kudos to Yano for all his hard work!) were on time every single day. Their professionalism while on site was impeccable. They left the site clean and tidy every day, and patiently answered all of our questions along the way. As we watched the original job of wrapping the exterior of the home, we were so impressed with the work, we decided to add a number of other jobs. We included an installation of a backflow valve, all new interior drains and sewer, a basement bathroom rough-in, and a new concrete floor (replacing our old rat slab). We are very pleased with the job, the price, and our total experience with Aquatech. We will gladly recommend them to anyone, and in fact, we've already done so to many neighbours. To Aquatech, you have a diamond of a leader in Terry. We have worked with many site supervisors on other jobs, and his professionalism and workmanship trumps them all.

    Professional, personable, and efficient

    I have a home from 1918, with concrete, cinderblock, and brick in the basement. Before calling Aquatech, water had been leaking in for the past few years. I’m very happy to have a nice, dry basement now, thanks to Aquatech. They completely waterproofed my basement (interior), installed a sump pump, backwater valve, and access point for my sanitary stack. Everyone at Aquatech was very professional and personable, from my initial call, to the quote and assessment from Nico, to the work itself. Terry was the team lead on the work, and he was fantastic. He helped me understand my options and make the best choices for my home. He was able to explain processes in terms that were easy for a layperson to understand. Their work looks great, they were efficient, and they left everything tidy. The company also took extra precautions due to the pandemic - the team wore masks and kept their distance when discussing the work. They also provided me with everything I need for applicable city rebates. I’m very pleased with the quality of the work, the cost, and the experience. I definitely recommend Aquatech, and will consider them for any future needs.

    Completely Satisfied

    I recently observed Terry and his crew install exterior waterproofing on my neighbour's house and I was very impressed with their efficiency and quality of work. In my capacity as a home inspector, I've seen the results of poorly executed waterproofing and was convinced by watching them that Aquatech knows what they're doing. I approached Terry for a quote on my own house and I found the price to be very reasonable. The job was completed within three days and includes a 25 year warranty. I am completely satisfied and have already reccomended Aquatech to freinds and family. Thanks Terry!

    Waterproofing basement

    Excellent job

    They dug 7 1/2 feet deep by hand 1/2 way around my house, and did a thoroughly professional job. Everything was cleaned up perfectly. The crews were very polite, and worked almost without breaks.

    Foundation waterproofing, sump pump and sewage back-up

    I was quoted by Eugene, who came out quickly. Easy going, professional and knowledgeable, he took a look at the job, and gave me a reasonable quote for exterior waterproofing (inc. weeping tile and window wells) with options to install a sump pump and sewage back-up. The work was held up a bit due to cold weather, but as soon as it improved they started the job. Terry was the lead on the job site and again, was friendly, professional and easy to get along with. After the work started I requested that the work be expanded based on some findings following completion of the first half. I also opted for the sump pump and sewage back-up. Once completed Terry returned without any fuss to fix some issues with how the concrete slab had cured. Thanks for the hard work, getting the job done quickly and for the clean-up along the way. Overall very happy with the work and service.

    Water proofing

    Basement Waterproofing

    We were very satisfied with the quality of service from the beginning to the end. Nico showed up on time to give us a quote and he gave us a very detailed quote. Terry and his crew did the work and we were very happy with his professionalism and problem solving ability. Terry went above and beyond to repair our driveway after laying the asphfalt he added a sealer so that it looked clean to match our driveway. Thanks for your help!

    Backwater valve and sump pump

    Brilliant work, clean, thorough, excellent! We worked before with Andrew and the team and have nothing but praise for their quality and professionalism. Excellent! Call these guys! They were on time and finished early.
