My experience with WOW 1 Day painting was exceptional from beginning to end. The online request was easy and I was contacted within a day to set up an estimate. Darryl is incredibly knowledgable and made paint suggestions that would work well with my condo. The painters arrived on time and finished within the time frame specified. They painted my entire condo including kitchen cabinets and they look amazing! Dealing with WOW 1 Day Painting was a breeze and the entire team were courteous, tidy and professional. I am so pleased with the work they did and recommend their services to anybody looking to have painting done well and for a reasonable price.

I was very happy with the work and with the entire experience. As promised, it was a high quality, one-day job that included LOTS of prep-work, patching, ceilings, trim and walls of an entire one bedroom apartment, plus extra trim work in my house. Daniel (the estimator/project manager) clearly knows his stuff and was able to spot everything that needed attention, ask relevant questions about our needs, and provide excellent advice. He was available to come when we wanted and paint when we wanted on very little notice. The painting team, led by Velizar was VERY professional, friendly and they did a great job. I ESPECIALLY appreciated the way the company handled a mistake made by me: I e-mailed the WRONG paint colour number to WOW (I transcribed one digit incorrectly). When the painters opened the cans and noticed that they were about to paint my all ceilings and trim a pale pink (named soft white) they stopped their work to double check the colour with me then found other work to do while waiting for the correct colour to be mixed and delivered to our site (which happened in under an hour). Other painters might not have stopped to double check or might have indicated impatience or displeasure at the interruption. But these painters were so pleasant and positive they made it SEEM like a very minor issue despite the fact that this was the majority of the paint and there were costs involved in the replacement (part of which I paid for at a very discounted price and part of which WOW paid for). I would definitely use WOW again and recommend them to friends. One extra tip: the night before the paint job, I moved all furniture away from the walls and took down all the artwork so that the walls were clear and ready to go. The painters mentioned that this made a big difference and allowed them to start their work immediately.

Based on the reviews I think the vast majority of the time this company performs without issue, but no one can be in business without a few hiccups. What makes a good company is how they handle or fix problems. We were having our house painted after extensive renovations when our painter got sick. We found ourselves stuck with a very tight timeframe for painting our whole house. Daniel came out right away to give us a quote and was able to schedule us for a two day job starting the very next day. Unfortunately there had been a miscommunication about the scope of work and preparation requirements for the house because of the work the first painter had done. Daniel spent a Sunday afternoon walking through the house with us to ensure that we got on the same page and while we are at first concerned about some of the work, he took care of all of our concerns. Dino and Eric did a great job on the touchups and we now have a beautifully painted house finished on schedule. If you need quality on a tight timeline these guys won't leave you hanging.

My wife and I hired Wow 1 Day Painting to paint the interior of our new home before we moved in. I was skeptical that they could really paint three floors of a home with multiple coats for dark colours in one day, but we were amazed by the results. The painting team was punctual, professional and thorough. The cutlines were crisp and they followed our instructions to the letter. They even painted our bedroom ceiling free of charge to hide some sloppy work by the previous owners. We were very impressed with their work, great value for the money. We would absolutely recommend their services.

Overall satisfied but: Trim touch-ups were part of the scope. Yet the team showed up with no trim paint. They used white paint instead, so you can see the differences. They also just tried to talk me out of it. We had to ask them to correct a couple areas that were not satisfactory. The instructions on how to prepare for the day could have been better or more proactively communicated rather than just saying "It's in the terms and conditions".

Wow 1 Day was highly recommended to me by other of their clients, and all the staff lived up to their reputation. Darryl Karpel, the Manager, spent attentive time to assess the painting to be done, and provided a quote within a couple of days. I had the painting done on 3 separate days due to the extent of the job, especially since I had to pack numerous boxes of items from cabinets and bookshelves for each of the separate 3 areas of my house. The painting crew always arrived promptly at 8 am and were most helpful in moving the furniture and boxes carefully to protect my hardwood doors. The painters are most professional and very respectful of me and my home. They were great about cleaning up too. Darryl followed up after each session , but I usually beat him with my praise about the work done. Yesterday was the 3rd and last day, and Matt and Marcius worked for 11 hours to get the extensive job done. I will highly recommend Wow I DayPainting to everyone who needs painters.

WOW 1 Day Painting provided excellent service. I was so happy to find professional painters who would be able to complete my house painting project in one day. Eric and his crew were highly professional, punctual, knowledgeable and personable. The walls look great and there was no mess when the team left at the end of the day. Pat and the team did a great job. As a landlord it's often tricky to schedule work on rental units due to the quick turn around time between tenants. The guys were able to do the work right away, arrived on time and completed the work in the time they quoted.

I had high expectations based on the reviews here, and am happy to report that Pat, Daniel and team met them in every way. High degree of professionalism, from the ease of getting an estimate, to their on-time arrival, to the high quality of the work performed. (Quick aside: You know how contractors can often make you feel like there is something uniquely difficult about your job, and they're doing you a huge favour by accommodating you? There was none of that here, which I found refreshing). I'd absolutely recommend them without reservation.
