Igal came to the house, he was very friendly and professional. He assessed the repair and explained the issue...it was a costly repair at an estimated $1100. He explained the next steps and when he would return. Igal returned to do the repair and was very quick and cleaned the area completely. Even with such a costly repair I am very impressed with the service I received. Our 2 year old microwave died, and Noah and Pavel from ARS were dispatched to fix it. They were profesional, friendly, fast and explained what the issue was. Our fridge was also making loud noises and Noah was kind enough to check it and fix it in 5 mins and not charge us extra (it was not leveled and he quickly levelled it for us). Highly recommend them for appliance repairs.Answer from pro:

Called Appliance Repair Service, washing machine would turn on, but select a cycle would shut off and lock door. Told by Technician Michael needed to replace front control board. Paid $480.25 and washing machine still does not work, won’t even turn on. Called them same day to advise, but technician didn't show up for appt. 2 times in a row/ no courtesy call to advise. Initial reason for call still not fixed and made us buy part we don't need and will not refund our money. ARS does not stand behind their work, hire elsewhere!Answer from pro:

Regarding this matter, our technician was there to help as he replaced the front touch board(which was fixed technically and visually), solving your initial issue for calling our services. Sometimes,there is a unfortunate situation when an appliance problem will unveil only after the part was replaced. Unfortunately the main board came up with a problem a few days after, and we offered to replace that for you, free of cost for labour, with only the need to pay for the part. Hard time scheduling a time then they wanted to change time. We did not have cooling in the fridge because the door had shifted and the light stayed on constantly. The repairman that arrived took more time than necessary adjusting the door and when he left, I still didn't feel the problem was completely fixed. I don't think I'd recommend this company. Also, he drove from Niagara falls to service Waterdown?Answer from pro:

Dishwasher leak a few weeks ago, they came to check and nothing was found. I paid service call fee. It recurs a few days in a roll now, ask them to come back. I call them yesterday, they said that would be okay not to charge service call fee if nothing was found this time but I would pay for repair cost because it is a recurrent same issue as last time. They told me that it is fair and they would talk to the technician first and give me a call back within an hour for appointment booking yesterday. They never call back. I called them this morning to book appointment. They now change their tone of voice and want me to pay service call charge again. This time apparently more money $80 plus HST instead of $50. They told me that there was no problem existed with my dishwasher when I called them in last time. Why on earth would I call them to check my dishwasher if it was not leaking?? Poor customer service. Addendum - We have another company came to check on my dishwasher, and sure enough there were problem with the motor and sump for my dishwasher. To say that there was no problem existed with last visit is not valid. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANYAnswer from pro:

Our service call has a guaranty of one month, you now called us 8 weeks after being serviced. Although you say you were told yesterday we could send back a technician free of charge, that is against company policy, as your appliance was fine for this period of time. The service call you paid was under promotion, and we are now back to regular pricing. We honour all our customers and technicians, priding ourselves with the great service and good prices. We would be more then happy to send out a new technician for you to diagnose the issue in the most efficient way, but can not expect our technicians to work with out being paid for even a service call.
