Our AC stopped functioning properly. I called Climax and left a message. Sam called me back and was able to diagnose the problem based on my description. He arrived within 2 hours. He confirmed the problem - the capacitor, had the spare part on hand, replaced the old part and had our AC up and running swiftly. Sam is terrific to work with: prompt, neat, friendly, knowledgeable and quick. I highly recommend him.

My old York air conditioning unit of 20 years stopped cooling so given its age I was looking for its replacement. I have searched Homestars for a company with a good reputation and I found Climax Air Conditioning who I wrote an email for a quote. They contacted me back within minutes and paid me a visit few hours later. Sam, the CAC representative, in a very polite and professinal manner explained me the options and answered my questions, at no point trying to oversell me anything. After that I took time to search the internet about the various products he gave me a quote for so I am convinced I make the best choice for my needs and budget. I found out that the price he quoted for the product I chose, including installation was somewhere at the bottom of what I found so I called Sam to pay the deposit and schedule the installation. The unit got installed the very next day, at the begining of a stretch of very hot weather. Sam's team did their job flawlesssly and accomodated my request to reposition the unit somewhere else after they had it placed where the old one was sitting (my fault for not telling them from the beginning what I wanted). I am very glad I chose Climax Air Conditioning and based on my experience I am recommending them to anyone who wants a high quality product and installation at a very good price.

I've been waiting for a really long heat wave before reviewing my new mini split heat pump installation but of course it has stayed relatively cool in the last two weeks so I haven't had to use it much. Sam and the Climax installers were reasonable, competitive and professional. They responded quickly to inquires, showed up on time with ppe and cleaned up before they left. In other words, Climax treated me exactly as they should and you should ask Sam for a quote.

My water heater was making the loudest noises. I called Climax and they solved my issue over the phone, for free. They will be the 1st I call when i have a real issue

We needed some help replacing a smart thermostat with a conventional Honeywell thermostat. We called Climax Heating and Air Conditioning. Sam came the same day and quickly fixed the problem and got our air conditioner running again which was a real blessing as the weather was very hot and humid. The very next day our water heater stopped working leaving us without hot water. I called Sam and with his advice over the phone I was able to fix the problem and get the water heater working saving us the cost of another service call. It was so refreshing to find a company and a technician who has the know-how, charges reasonable fees and cares about their customers providing real service. Thank you Sam!

My a/c fan stopped working and called Climax. Sam gave me some tips over the phone to try out and resolve the issue. Very helpful and honest. It turned out to be a capacitor issue which needed replacement and he got it fixed in less than 24hrs! Really happy with their service and highly recommend.

Sam was a pleasure to deal with. He was responsive and transparent; didn’t try to oversell me but instead just recommended what was necessary. No pressure tactics at all. And his installation technicians, what can I say. Saiid (sp?, sorry if I misspelled) and his partner were awesome. Clean, polite and professional. I highly recommend Sam and his team.
