My furnace broke down and I had tried to call someone in to fix it.
After inspector coming over they had told us how much it would cost to fix the furnace and how much the part would cost.
Overall, they had recommended to purchase new furnace as the cost would be too much to fix old one. They also stated that told furnace uses a lot more power then the new energy efficient ones and that in the long run we would be saving money buy purchasing new furnace.
After purchasing and installing our new furnace we did actually see a drop in our energy bills... not huge but about 6-7% which we were happy with.
So we were happy with the recommendations they made as they could have easily told us we should fix it and make more money off of us that way.
