My experience with Climax Heating and Air Condition is very positive. Sam was prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with. Sam dispatched Ata and Karil to our home to address a fresh air supply (intake) to furnace room issue. Ata was straightforward in his approach, knowledgeable, and helpful. All in all, our family was very pleased with the services rendered and the cost. We will not hesitate in contacting Climax Heating and Air Conditioning in future.

My air conditioner broke on Friday night. It was plus 26 Celsius outside, plus 30 was expected on Saturday and Sunday. I called a technician, who arrived an hour later and started the air conditioner in temporary mode while the control panel (costing about $900) from the manufacturer was supposed to arrive. The company took care of all the troubles of receiving the control panel within the manufacturer's warranty. The price of a new conrtol panel is $900 (it cost me only $100 for express delivery). The technician delivered and installed the control panel within a week. Thank you.

This is the third time that we have come to rely on Climax Air Conditioning. Sam and his team have consistently met our expectations. They have always been very responsive. When AC/Heating failures occur, they don't necessarily occur during regular business hours. Sam serviced our AC and furnace a few years ago and restored them to their working condition. Recently we noticed that the fan on our AC was not spinning even though the AC was on. We called Sam at Climax on a Saturday morning and got a reply within a short time. He came to our house that day to assess the situation and informed us that our AC fan had seized. He informed us of how much that repair would cost and recommended that we replace the unit given its age (16+ years). He also made the recommendation to replace our furnace at the same time as it was also 16+ years old and not as efficient as newer units. He was not pushing the sale - he only made the recommendation. My husband and considered his recommendation and decided to replace both units. Sam had two gentlemen come to the house the following day (Sunday morning) and by the time we went to bed, we had a newly installed AC unit and Furnace. While the installation was occurring, Sam came to check on the work. He further followed up the following day to see how everything was working. I would not hesitate to recommend Climax Air Conditioning to anyone that is in need of an HVAC repair / replacement. They have earned our trust. Thank you Very much Sam!

We have an old AC that needed service a couple of different occasions. In 2020, our AC wasn't producing enough cold air. I called a couple of places for check/repair. 2 other places came in didn't even bother to look into the problem when they saw the AC. They told us it's not worth fixing or not fixable as it's too old. Sam came and he carefully checked our AC and fixed the problem very quickly. 4 years on, the AC is still producing cool air for our house. We needed Sam's help 2 more times for different problems and every time he arrived on time and fixed the problem for us. He always explain things upfront, charges fairly and never rush me into purchase or upgrade. I am extremely happy with Sam's service and highly recommend him for any AC/Furnace need.

We happened upon Climax after searching Homestars for a company who could replace our 24 year old air conditioner. Of course it happened to stop working during some of the hottest days this year and we were certain we would have to wait to be seen. I contacted Climax and spoke to Sam who was so friendly and understanding of our situation. Wanting to squeeze us in as soon as possible he actually got two technicians to come out the next day and were so professional and cleaned up as they worked and also corrected things that were done incorrectly by the previous company. We are very happy with their work and would certainly use them again but also refer them to anyone needing air conditioner replacement.

A/C stopped working in 40 degree weather. Found Climaxair online because they were in the area. Called them and they got back to me the same day. Spoke with Sam who did a consult over the phone. Had the best pricing of all the places I called. Had the installation 2 days later . The guys that came to install spent over 10 hours. They did such a great job, they even found a fault in the way it was vented and fixed it. They were respectful of our home and wearing shoes that they laid down protective material not to scratch our floors. The air comes up into the house colder and the air pushes all the way to the 2nd floor where it was barely going before. Very happy with their work. Would recommend them to others in need.

I was looking for someone to fix my HVAC leak. Sam was extremely prompt, came by the same day and fixed the issue. Very honest and professional experience. Highly recommended.

Our air conditioner broke down in the middle of a heat wave. Climax Air Conditioning came in about a half hour and repaired the unit quickly and efficiently. We will be using their services again in the future.

I tested my A/C on 6/14/24 to find it was not cooling. My 30 year old A/C owes me nothing but what a time for it to fail, with a nasty heatwave coming. I had 2 other contractors come by and both confirmed that my old unit was low or out of refrigerant. The unit was too old and used the old freon that is not allowed to be topped up. I was looking at having to purchase a new unit. They both gave me quotes. One used pressure tactics and the other the prices were outrageous. On 6/18/24 I decided to use HomeStars and was lucky to find Climax Air Conditioning. I called Climax Air but got no answer. I figured all these contractors would be busy during this heatwave. To my surprise, Sam called me back within 5 minutes. I immediately felt comfortable speaking with Sam. He was patient with me answering all my questions and making recommendations. There was no pressure and ultimately it was my decision on what direction to go. I needed a 2 ton unit and decided to go with the Amana ASX130241. The price was very fair especially compared to my other 2 quotes. I thought I would have to wait a week or 2 but Sam managed to squeeze me in for an install on 6/20/24. On Thursday, Sam's team, Ben and Masood arrived early and performed a wonderful job. Changing my A/C unit was not straight forward and had challenges but Ben figured it all out. I tip my hat to the guys because it was a very hot day to do this kind of work! I highly recommend Sam and Climax Air Conditioning. I trust him, he is honest and I will be considering them again when it comes time to replacing my 19+ year old furnace.
