I am relatively new to Pickering and did not know of any reliable local plumbers. The toilet in our master bathroom had a small leak at the base and it was beginning to affect the floor tiles. I did research on Homestars, read all the reviews and selected John Dima to do the repair. He came to our home on Feb. 29, 2016 and fixed the problem by installing a new toilet seal, caulking around the base of the toilet and changing the bolts on this heavy American Standard toilet, as they were insufficient for its weight. John was very professional, polite and showed me the work he had done each step of the way. While this was a small job, John gave it as much attention as if it were a large job. I waited 2 weeks to write this review because I wanted to make sure there were no subsequent problems with the toilet. To date, everything is working perfectly and no more leak! Thank you John. I will call you in the future for any plumbing issues we may have.

An absolutely amazing, professional and outstanding service we received from John last week. Despite our prompt request, considerable distance to our home and an weekend, John arrived in less than an hour to help us out. I highly recommend John to anyone and I will be using his services in the future.

I found John to be very professional . He is very skilled at what he does. We are in the process of completing a kitchen renovation and I contacted him to install our sink and dishwasher. This is the second time I used his service. John is really professional. I emailed him for a quote and in 10 minutes we set up an appointment for the next day. He completed the job and left no mess behind. He is a good example for other trade persons to learn from him. I am more than pleased with his job.

I am very satisfied with the plumbing service John provided. I called him in the evening and he responded promptly and agreed to come in the morning. He was courteous and explained the problem with my toilet/plumbing and repaired it.

I have used Dima Plumbing 4 times now and have had the same experience every time: John arrives promptly, works efficiently and knows what he's doing, cleans up after himself, is very courteous and his prices are always fair. This time, he replaced the entire mixer faucet over my bathtub, using quality parts. Although I was not in a big rush, I called in the morning, emailed John a picture of my faucet, he called me back promptly and told me what he's going to do and what time he will be coming. I have also used him in the past for: 1: Clogged drain pipe in the kitchen, 2: Cracked ABS drain pipe behind a wall 3: Replaced a stuck faucet cartridge in the bathroom. He has also done some work for my mom and one of her friends and both were very thankful to me for referring a master plumber with a strong work ethic. John was very knowledgeable and resolve the clucking issues within in 15min. I have used John's service more than one occasions and would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues. His service charge is reasonably priced as well.

Full bath (bathtub, faucet, toilet) and kitchen installation When we did the main floor bathroom renovation and basement bathroom we knew who to call: John! He professionally installed them fast and reliable. I had no leaks, no problems and no concerns for 10 years with those! 2. Sprinkler water system installation Couple of years ago we installed a sprinkler system for our garden and called John to do the plumbing. Not only he did the job perfectly he actually installed without even asking me some more shut-off valves for an easier winterizing of the system! Now I don't have to be home when the sprinkler guy is coming as he can do all the job without entering the house! Amazing! 3. Main drain back-up: Unfortunately the laundry tub was done by another plumber and that was a huge mistake! So I called Dima Plumbing when the water from my laundry tub was bubbling up the floor drain in my basement. John arrived 9 AM the next morning. He snaked the drain and cleared roots from the main pipe going from the house to the street. He also cleared the interior drain and gave me some great ideas on how to maintain clear drain pipes. Thank to John for a good job. We got a new kitchen faucet and in 3 bathrooms he changed all the shower and sink cartridges which made them like new again. On another occasion he installed the new kitchen sink. We are very happy with his advices and the work he has done.
