My spouse and I wanted to replace our interlocking pathway, front steps and porch with flagstone. The front steps have required periodical lifting over the past 23 years since we had them laid. We were referred to Action Home Services from a well- respected local stone company. We subsequently checked the numerous reviews on HomeStars which were also very positive and checked out a couple of their finished projects. John and Eugene who operate the business were very professional. John provided us with options and pricing and we ultimately decided to include a cement foundation for the flagstones. The project commenced within the stated timeframe; John and Eugene were always available to answer questions, and Eugene visited the worksite on a regular basis; we could sense that both men take pride in the quality of workmanship their workers provide, and the results demonstrate this attitude. The workers were always on time at the site and worked through some challenging weather. The main masonry is an experienced gentleman and obviously skilled at his trade. We would definitely recommend Action Home Services and intend to use them for future home projects.

Action repositioned our interlock bricks around our pool and front side of house. The 20 year old bricks over time became either uneven or incorrectly sloped. Action did a really nice job correcting all these issues for us - our yard looks brand new again. Anton was a pleasure to deal with as well as his crew - they all worked very hard over this 3 day project. I will be using them next spring again to correct some issues in our front. I highly recommend them. One other really great comment about Action is they responded immediately to our request for a quote - unlike several others landscapers we reached out to (who surprisingly had good homestars ratings ???) who either never courteously took the time to even respond or even show up as promised.

We are so glad we decided to work with Action Home Services to undertake outdoor work, including removing a large wooden deck in our backyard and installing a 600 square foot patio and sod. John assessed our use of the space and recommended a solution that suited our needs and didn't try to "over sell". The work was very professional, on budget and the team did a good job cleaning up the area at the end of each day and an extra clean at the end. The end result looks great and we can't wait to enjoy time outside. We would work with Action Home Services again and highly recommend obtaining a quote from them for any project - great value for great results!

What started out as a repair for a few steps quickly turned into almost 100 square feet of loose flagstone that needed repair. The team removed all loose stones, removed excess concrete and re-laid all stones. The team even corrected some shortcuts the existing home owners did. Would highly recommend AHS for any general home repair.

John and his crew did a terrific job repaving my driveway and replacing existing low retaining walls, the crew arrives on time everyday and keep the area very clean and very professional. I would recommend them to my neighbors anytime.

They were incredible! The work was completed in one week and they were so pleasant and efficient. The stairs look great and the riser mortar joints were perfectly aligned from top to bottom. We didn’t even know to ask for this so it was a very pleasant surprise. And the cleanup afterwards was excellent. I would recommend this company in a second. Thank you John, Nick and the gang!

Work was done on time and looks great. We were particularly impressed by the workaround developed by the crew related to an existing AC unit that was in the way but could not be relocated.

They dug up the lawn which was a mountain of grass, weeds, cracking stones, and a half built planter and replaced it which beautiful and perfectly cut stone work, a widened walkway and driveway, shrubs and some grass.

Very nice, very friendly people. They know what they’re doing to finish a quality work order. I was wasting my time for 9 weeks with a other Company and after that time frame I got a call saying the work order is to small for them. I was disappointed! I called Mr. John from Action Home Services and I got the Estimate and the time his team can start. I explained him that after all wasted time there is a rush on my project because after surgery I need my stairs with new railing and handrail done. Action Home Services started 2 day’s later and now I’m so happy the way it was done from the friendly team. I really received quality and will recommend them to all friends and people I know.
