Extremely happy with the service and quality of work provided by John and his team. They were punctual and ready to work as soon as they arrived rather than waiting for direction - which is an excellent sign of organization and efficiency. So efficient, they finished the multitude of jobs within 5 days when initially 2 weeks was estimated. And the quality of work was not compromised as they had a very detail oriented grandmother breathing down each of the worker's back - day in and day out :) Kudos to them for putting up with her with patience and humour. They never hesitated to offer creative solutions and decisions were always made together, making sure we were happy every step of the way. The whole team worked together to leave my property and my neighbour areas in perfect condition. Great attention to details with a follow up to make sure everything was all good. Highly recommend John and his team for any jobs - large or small. Thank you!

Eugene and his team at Action Home Services were awesome! They were efficient, super hard working and very professional. Eugene was easy to work with and accommodating. The work they did exceeded my expectations. Our back patio was in pretty bad shape. They built retaining walls, a new staircase and repaired all the bricks. It now looks fantastic. Eugene even came by the following Sunday to deliver and lay river rocks to make it look even better! We will definitely be calling them again for future projects!

We decided to hire John and his team from Action Home Services, to complete unfinished work from another contractor who did 5% of the required job and then absconded. We needed our backyard and the two sidewalks of our house to be redone. Speaking with John at our initial meeting gave us renewed confidence that our project would get completed this year and by professionals. He did not shy away from the mess left behind by the other contractor, but instead laid out a plan to overcome any shortcomings he saw. He was very patient with us and explained in as much detail as we needed, information pertaining to the project. Action Home Services installed for us interlocking in our backyard, built from scratch a huge 10’x25’ pergola, built and installed the two gates to the backyard, laid the interlocking on both sides of the house, built all the steps that were required and laid new grass and mulch. We also asked them to get the front driveway sealed after the entire project was over, which they had a third party contractor compete it. This was our first renovation project and we feel that we experienced both the bad and scrupulous kind of contractor, i.e. the initial company, and then the most absolutely amazing, dedicated team of professionals, i.e. Action Home Services. Every single one of the team who worked on our project was committed to the job and they worked hard for 12 hours a day. The work started a week earlier than scheduled, which was a pleasant surprise for us, and it took them 9.5 working days to transform the place. We are so happy with the work they did for us and will be sure to recommend them to friends and neighbors. John, Eugene, Nick and the rest of the guys, a huge thank you from us!

John and his team were great. They were efficient and professional. They showed up when they said they would. They did a very professional job with the project. They even helped negotiate conversations between myself and the neighbour. I am extremely happy with what they did and would highly recommend them.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ACTION HOME SERVICES FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICES THEY PROVIDED ME LAST WEEK. ARMOUR STONE RETAINING WALL GIVES A FINSIHED LOOK TO MY FRONT HOUSE. ACTION HOME SERVICES GUYS PREPARED THE AREA FOR WORK, ALSO THEY WERE PRETTY QUITE, WHICH IS VERY GOOD BECAUSE I HAVE CHIDREN. THE ONLY CONCERN FOR ME WAS THE COMPANY’S AVAILABILITY, THEY WERE BOOKED FOR 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE, BUT JOHN FOUND SOME TIME FOR MY REQUEST, AND THE CREW DID AMAZING JOB.

I have been planning to renovate my backyard for a long time, however was not sure what exactly I want. Going through many options online, I realized I need landscaping contractors to advise me. Action Home Services hosted event last summer for their clients and I went there with my friend (he was interested in hiring them at the time). Their presentations and strong customer service, high professionalism and the works that they have done impressed me much more than I could imagine, so when I was going through HomeStars and saw their company name- I did not hesitate a second anymore. Full project took a week, the crew did everything from scratch- I had some old grass and one old tree to remove. After cleaning and disposing all the garbage, the fun began. From 7 am to late night, the team was working hard not wasting a minute. I have never seen such motivated crew before, all of them were working like they did it for their own houses yay! Overall, the services I got: grass sodding, interlocking repair on sidewalk, deck installation and flagstone walkway (I want to build something for kids, so walkway leaves some free space, which is ideal for me). The deck is not too big, but perfectly fits my needs. Strongly recommend the company for fair prices and high professionalism!

We went with Action Home Services because of the great customer service. John replied to questions or concerns right away by phone or text. He also gave us different ideas on what to do with our raised patio that was causing problems (it was sloped towards the house and damaged the bricks). He was very mindful of our budget and did not try to oversell us on any services or products. His crew is friendly, hardworking and dedicated to completing the job on time.
