We made the mistake of calling Nordik windows and door to replace the basement windows 6 and 3 doors. Bad choice both the windows and the doors as well as have several defects as well as being installed in an unprofessional way from there subcontractor . For more than 3 weeks it was not possible to block the windows after clean windows water come inside . work paid but after a month still not completed. after a month the company sent an inspector to check our complain confirming the various defects. Now we are waiting to know if the company will Fix Very unprofessional company products, installers, and professionalism of the company to be avoided After call the number in the answer from company and now passed 2 months we don't receive answer from Nordik Windows and Doorswhen and if they can fix all issue the ispector from Nordik Windows and Doors founded if someone want see bad job this company doo free to contact me i open to help to not commit same mistake we do with this unprofessional company

We are about half way through our project and I am hoping the second half far exceeds our experience during the first half. Our installation date started with a delay and set the tone for the day as 3 of the 9 windows that combine as our front window (photo) were lost somewhere between Ottawa and the GTA warehouse. The crew continued with 2 bathroom windows and a hall window. Small things that led to the poor review included workers smoking on the property and the smoke obviously travelling into the house when windows are being changed, and dirty handprints on interior walls. Bigger issue for the poor review was the flashing on the exterior of the windows were screwed down leaving a very unprofessional look to the exterior finish (photo). The biggest problem though, was that although they laid tarps down throughout the house during the install, the bottom of the tarps were not clean. At the conclusion of the job, I could hear a worker scraping one of my hardwood steps with a putty knife. I then heard him spray something and could smell a solvent (photo). After he walked out of the house I noticed the finish from the step had been stripped where the solvent had been applied. At the end of the install I had to confront the worker about what happened to the step as he was going to leave without acknowledging the damage to the step. When I complained to the installation manager I was offered compensation to have the tread refinished. When I told him that I was planning on refinishing the step myself, the compensation was reduced to $50 off for the remaining balance of our job (2 exterior doors and a sliding glass door).

Installers were great. Unfortunately, 1 window was missing. Called the Customer Service number, agent tried to blame the installers, who were told when they picked up the material that there was a missing window.... finally got the agent to refer me to a service manager....still waiting for her to call. Very disappointing.

The installers were very professional and friendly… however they couldn't complete the job because the trim was not available for them to put it on! So hear I am… waiting for someone to come back and finish… but what is done looks pretty good! And I will not pay until the job is complete Respectfully Carla johnson

Sales rep was awesome, Chuck was his name. Installers were awesome, swept up after themselves, were quiet, polite, managed to do my whole house in one day, they barely took a break all day poor guys, did excellent work. Windows are fabulous, look great, work great.

We replaced our basement window and it looks mazing now. Great job, nice employees and finished efficiently. I have already recommended you to my bank manager, as she was looking to have her home windows replaced as well. Thank you, The Ruberto Family

The doors are very well made and beautiful. The installation team did a wonderful job. Nordik follows up after the install and quickly remedies any issues. Would not hesitate to recommend, no disappointments.

We had Levi "the window guy" come to our house to give us a quote for 8 windows and 1 sliding door. He answered all of our questions, provided a sample to look at and over the next few weeks modified our quote without complaint. Levi was professional and was a pleasure to work with. Thank you Levi. Then came install day. Zoran and Dejon arrived on time and did a fabulous job. Very efficient workers, cleaned up after them selves, respectful of our home during COVID and generally very pleasant guys. I want a new front door and I will be asking for Levi to provide a another quote in the near future and will ask for Zoran's crew to undertake the install. We couldn't be more happy. Zoran, Dejon and Levi are the best. Thank you Nordik!!!

We signed the contract in November 2020 and the installation was delayed to June 2021 due to supply chain issues resulting from COVID. We were contacted by Nordik and kept informed of the reason for the delay. After the installation was completed, the delay became a non-issue because the windows and doors were so beautiful that it was worth the wait. Our installers were wonderful. They were respectful of our home and cleaned up after the work was complete. Nordik's quote was not the cheapest quote we received, neither was it the most expensive quote. For us, it was a large investment but it was worth every dollar spent. Thank you for making our home energy efficient and more beautiful. Definitely a 5 star project!
