    Four Large Windows replaced in living room

    Our experience from beginning to end was fantastic. Skylar , the sales rep, was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and a pleasure to meet. Any phone conversations with office staff was positive. Your two men who did the installation were outstanding . They were professional , and their work exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail is to be applauded. They were a pleasure to have around. At a time when nerves are a tad high because of covid they put us at ease pretty quickly. They do Nordik proud and deserve a big pat on the back, maybe a bonus. We have been telling everyone about our experience. Thank you very much

    Toss up with the installers. Not worth the premium

    Sep 2020: patio door, 4 windows, and front door with sidelites ordered With covid in mind, obviously there would be delays. -Unprofessional measurement tech came in, took no care with our walls/window casing when he was removing it and managed to damage several areas. -End of Jan: patio door was installed, albeit not well. Had to get a service call to have someone adjust it in order for it to slide properly. Service call was done quickly and properly. That was the first positive -Early Feb: windows. The measurements taken were well off the mark and gaps nearly 3-4 inches on all sides, giving us smaller windows than we should have received. We opted for a $credit rather than waiting another several months for new windows (mistake). The window installers did well with what they were given. -Late march (6months): received our door. Installer completely missed the booked time, worked until 10pm. Door measurements were again completely off, with gaps 3-4 inches on all sides. Forgot to put in our doorbell wiring. Hideous caulking job with large air gaps which were 'serviced' the next day (no salvaging it really). Fingerprint inside the sealed frosted glass planes. Chipped our door hardware during install, took the box for door hardware which we provided, and unfortunately we have no chance of returning as it's not compatible with our August lock. Awful mess around the work area which was hardly cleaned up as the installer apparently does not own a shop vac. -multiple service calls were made to inspect the job in which agreements were made to have this fixed -We paid our balance in full as soon as all jobs were completed. We relied on their reputation for service and this is a regret and we recommend that you withhold any final payments as we now have no recourse and they won't give you the time of day as they've already taken your money. -Nordik has been proactive 0 times. We tried being patient and accomodating through the entire process but having to check in every 3-4 weeks to see if any changes have been made is a headache in itself. 3 months later we're still getting the run around, with no repairs on our damaged walls, none of the $credit that was promised, and no updates on the work being done, -Take your hard earned money elsewhere and get a better deal. This would have been expected had we opted for the cheapest price and a no name contractor. Feelings aside (granted this much headache is never worth it), 3 stars for a good product. As title indicates, we had different installers every time. A satisfying result was produced 1 of 3 times.

    3 very large windows

    These windows are very good quality. I was very pleased with the scheduling/managing end as they were very helpful and ensured things ran smoothly. The installers, Zoro and his crew were AMAZING- they arrived on time, were polite, clearly had experience, double checked things with me and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend you ask for Zoro when it comes to scheduling the installation. I was alittle disappointed when 1 of the 3 windows did not arrive and I wasn’t made aware ahead of time and so now we have to live without blinds for a few weeks until it arrives. Other than that, with the many things that can go wrong in ordering and installing windows, I am a happy customer:)

    Windows

    I was very pleased to have my new premium windows installed by professionals. My existing widows were 35 years old and I wanted to ensure that my new windows would help my home sell in the near future. The 25 year warranty from Nordik will certainly contribute towards that goal.

    not as expected

    windows not as expected still waiting hear from the company for explanation ...communication with company needs improvement, the installers were great and did an impressive job, once i signed the contract i didnt hear from the salesman

    Service

    This service was excellent Daniel was so kind and friendly. 10 stars I am so happy with my windows and also found out from Daniel that if I sell the warranty can be transferred to new owners. Thankyou

    Installation of energy-efficient windows

    The installers were to install my window on June 10, 2021, They were late and half-installed 3 of the 7 windows I wanted replacing and they left a pile of debris in my back yard and driveway. One of the windows has a crack in the glass (upper left corner) which I reported to the company. The installers didn't show up the next day citing difficulties. with their cube-van. Nobody had the decency to call me in the morning to let me know. I only found out because I made phone calls to find out what was going on. In addition to that, someone from the company called to investigate my complaint about the cracked window. Unfortunately, the call was dropped and I was playing phone-tag with Nordik all day trying re-connect with the investigator. The installers came on June 12, 2021 to finish the installation. While they did a good job they had to remove the awning over my living room window and my front office window. Nobody from Nordik had told me this would be a necessity when the contract was signed nor when measurements of the window frames were made. Also, no provision was given to put the awnings back to their normal places.

    Doors replacement

    The experience from beginning to end was very professional. From the initial visit to discuss the options, to the measurements taken and then upon the install, I couldn’t be more pleased in choosing NORDIK.

    Windows

    Overall it was a great experience, very fair price, and the windows were installed in a timely fashion. my only complaint is I wished the windows could have been cleaned after the installation. There were finger prints and residue from manufacturing left on the glass and the windows being on a second story are difficult to clean on the outside

    Dishonest Salesman

    This company employs unprofessional and dishonest salesman that make promises, hold your deposit for 10 months and do not deliver the proper product. I had ordered an entry door from a highly incompetent salesman that works for this company. After 3 revisions due to lack of knowledge, dishonest business practices, and just plain ruthlessness, the salesman held my deposit for more than 10 months. Finally, after filing a claim with small claims court, the salesman emails me a photo of the "completed door" i discovered that it has the wrong glass. After once again refusal of refunding my deposit we are now meeting in court. Terrible and dishonest salesman working at this company also works hard in removing negative reviews from online publications. Ive had at least 4 reviews about this company being removed by them, almost as if they have something to hide. Lots and lots of windows and doors companies in the GTA that do great work without this huge headache. RUN AWAY.
