Excellent sales technique (to get your money)......terrible everything else. They were very professional when they wanted to sell me their windows. Told me the quality is the best around and will qualify for the Greener homes Grant, and put me in touch with a company to do an evaluation. I paid $450 for the initial evaluation and $280 for the final. When the final evaluation was completed the other company asked for the Energy Star Label from Nordik. I called and they sent an email saying: here is your contract and the Enerstar labels. There were no labels attached. I called again to be told that basement windows do not qualify. Why would they go out of their way to tell me about the government program, put me in touch with an evaluator...only to not qualify. In addition, there were problems throughout even getting the windows installed. When they booked the date to install the windows they cancelled and never got back to me with a new date. I had to call for months with no response until finally someone said the sales person no longer worked there. There sent a new guy to measure AGAIN and he was very confused as to why he needed to measure when they sent someone months previously to do it. Months went by again with no response after the second measurement. Again repeated phone calls until 9 months after I paid them they finally said someone would come do it on the Christmas holidays even though the offices were closed. I waited all day until the installer called saying that he saw that he was scheduled to install a window but he was on holidays. Absolutely ridiculous experience from beginning to end. The installer was very nice and helpful and the window itself was ok, but I still have the rusted old frame (they did tell me they would not replace the frame) but they could not fit on the siding so it is just spray foam all over...that they told me to cut myself with an exacto knife.
