    Removal of waste

    Garrison and Chester were prompt, helpful and professional. Cost was on par with other service providers I called. Jessica at head office was brilliant, so helpful when I got flustered. Very efficient operation, would highly recommend,

    Renovation rubbish removal

    Booked an appointment Sunday, received a call 1/2 an hour before window, they arrived on time, Jacob and Chester were friendly and helpful and fair with the price. I would use this company again.

    Disposal of mulch and earth

    Contacted Rid Of It on a Sunday afternoon and made an apt for the following day. They called before they arrived to give me an update on their timing. Once they arrived Garrison and Derek were very polite, worked quickly and were more than fair on the price. Very happy with the service.

    Garbage Removal

    Garrison and Derek outlined the cost of the work. They explained how the pricing works -- the amount in the truck with the extra costs for the weight. They removed my garbage quickly and cleaned up after. It was a hassle free transaction.

    Junk Removal

    To start, the services were great. They showed up on time and finished everything in about 20 minutes. They also cleaned up all the dust and dirt left underneath the rubbish on the driveway. When I spoke to other company's they said it would cost about $250 and when I spoked to Rid-of-it on the phone they also said about $250 after I thoroughly described what material I had to dispose of, the size of it as well as how heavy it was. I am disappointed with what they charged me. They charged me for 1/4 truck which was fair for $189 but what surprised me was the additional $159 for 1/8 bed load. This is the charge because it is heavy. As stated on their website: " How do you charge? We charge based on volume per truckload. However, if the material is extremely heavy a surcharge is applied based on weight." Now I do not believe the wood was extremely heavy as I have been lugging it around all day and tearing it out of the ground myself. Also the average price to dump 1 Metric Ton of waste in Toronto is about $75. I did not have a ton. So I am not quite sure how they charged me an extra $159 on top of the $189. So all in all I had an Great services from the worker but very disappointed in the cost. I won't be using this company again.

    Renovation materials and Packing material

    Had renovation material sitting in my shed and backyard for a year. I booked an appointment on line for the next day. Got a call confirming minutes later. John and Chester arrived when they said they would, gave an accurate quote and worked quickly, efficiently and were very clean. In no time the material was gone. Would strongly recommend.

    Debris removal

    They quoted $200 on the phone, and then wanted $350 when they got here. I understand that the quotes are rough estimates, but 75% increase in price is a bit much, especially when they received a very detailed information on the scope of work over the phone. I really do not appreciate that kind of bait-and-switch behaviour.

    Removal of a bunch of furniture, other things

    We had several pieces of surplus furniture to remove, as well as a number of odds and ends. Wanted to avoid putting it all on the curb and waiting for it to be picked up by the city. Jacob and Derek did the work. They were quick, focused and asked all the right questions. Nice job!

    Removing landscaping waste timbers brick and stone.

    Work was completed by Garrison and Jacob. They both did a great job and cleaned up nicely afterward. Web based estimate was quite misleading however. They only quote to volume component of the price. In my case, the weight component was 60% of the cost. Here's the warning given: "Prices are based on volume not loading time. Use the Price Estimator to determine your approximate fee. We can provide an exact, no-obligation quote once on site. Extremely heavy items like bricks, concrete and drywall are subject to special heavy material pricing." If you have heavy stuff, expect to pay a lot more than the online estimate.

    Kitchen Reno Waste

    John and Skene were efficient and courteous when the time came to dispose of the kitchen reno waste that had been sitting in our yard waiting to thaw. It was all gone in a matter of hours once I had picked up the phone. I called, they hauled. Thanks guys!
