    Squirrel in attic

    We heard some noises in the attic and thought it might be a raccoon or squirrels (lots of those in the neighbourhood). I looked around for signs of entry, couldn't find one. When I called GTA, Troy et al were able to identify the access point within minutes of arriving. They set up a trap door and came back a couple of days later to retrieve it and to repair the damaged area. They are friendly, knowledgeable and reliable.

    squirrel removal

    A few years ago we kept hearing noises coming from our attic and we were not sure what it was we called GTA and they sent out Troy. It turned out to be squirrels and Troy promply installed a one way door as well as fixed the hole where they had gained access; to our relief we have never had a problem since. Troy was both knowledgeable and courteous and it only took approx 1 hour to fix the problem as a result I have kept his number on speed dial ever since and have had the pleasure of referring him to friends and family as well. If you want quick, reliable and professional service call GTA Wildlife...they are fantastic.

    pest control

    We had some rodent in the house that was wrecking the place. We called Kevin at GTA and he responded in a couple of hours. He also followed up by phone and visits, and gave us assurances that the rodent was gone.

    squirrel removal and prevention

    Setting up the appointment was easy, just used the website. Kevin called to confirm the evaluation time. Troy and Ryan arrived and indicated the job could be done. Although they indicated I didn't need to opt for the full preventative measures as there was no evidence of other entry I chose the work anyway (no upselling - big plus in my books). Very professional and good work. They will be back in a week to remove the one way trap.

    Added screens to my roof vents and a trap to allow any squirrels to leave my attic.

    A few weeks ago, I came home to the sound of loud scratching from the ceiling in our bathroom. I saw some holes in the ceiling and pink insulation had fallen to the floor. I thought the animal that did the damage might be a raccoon that had somehow gotten into our attic and was trying to make a home for its family. I called GTA and they were able to come the same day. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and believed that it was a squirrel that had chewed through the plastic of one of my roof vents. They took pictures of the damage and then explained what the best course of action would be to solve the problem. I didn't feel pressured to do anything that was unnecessary because everything was explained fully and the decision to place screens around my other vents made sense, so that's what they did. They also placed a trap with a spring door to let the squirrel(s) out (if any were still inside the attic), even though the scratching had stopped. A few days later, I noticed that a squirrel was on my roof spending hours scratching at the screen, or the trap, trying to get back in. The squirrel often peeked over the roof ledge and looked me right in the eyes for several days almost as if to say "Why did you hire these guys? I can't chew through these bloody screens that they added." I got tired of all the scratching noise from the roof, so I called the GTA guys to check things out a few days before they were scheduled to return to remove the trap and put more screening its place. When they arrived, the squirrel fled my roof and the guys noticed that one of my neighbours had a vent with the plastic/rubber covering chewed off and a big hole showing. I'm glad I had them add screens to all of my vents as they had previously suggested! One of the guys then went into my attic to make sure that there were no unwelcome quests still inside, and thankfully there were not. I asked them to block the hole even though the screen was enough to stop anything from getting inside (and no water could get in from the side), so they added a piece of metal to cover the hole. It wasn't necessary, but it made me feel safer, so they gladly did it for me. So, if you want competitive pricing, fast and thorough service with absolutely no pressure to add extra things that are not really necessary, and of course, excellent customer service, make sure you give GTA Wildlife Removal and Pest Control a call. You'll be glad you did (only the squirrels or other pests will be annoyed that you called)!

    Squirrels in Attic

    We procrastinated on this job, and as a result the pattering feet and scratching sounds of squirrels in our attic were emanating down into the bedroom, causing disruption to sleep, and stress. GTA Wildlife Removal guys (Troy) were great in explaining the scenario and unlike me, were very certain of the likely entry point. I really don't have an opinion one way or another as to whether the "one way exit door" methodology is good or necessary, but boy, was it effective. Friendly, helpful service, and most of all, 100% effective. It's been five weeks. The squirrels haven't been back.

    Wildlife Removal and Pest Control

    We had to call them twice now. Both times on time, friendly, helpful, free with explanation and detail information. When I called 2 months after the mouse problem with concerns that mice had returned they came the next day to check. Repaired the raccoon-damaged siding and basement window and were great with our cats -- also very respectful of my concerns about placing poison in the basement because of the cats. On top of that, competitively priced. All together: great service. Would always go back to them.

    Squirrel removal

    Friday called, Booked Monday appt. When they were on the way to my house, they called ahead of time (especially I was not at home). Once they arrived, they called again and explained to me what they were going to go. Set the animal friendly exit for the Squirrel and have the follow up call the next day. Make sure I understood what exactly going on. Thank you very much for your service.

    Wasp nest removal

    We had two wasp nests in the yard. I called GTA based on Homestars ratings, and left a message. Kevin called back immediately, and set an appointment just hours later. He found a 3rd nest and took care of it no charge. He told me about the guarantee, and a few weeks later one of the nests had come back - GTA took care of that as well with no charge. They communicated clearly each step, and are very professional and easy to work with. I definitely recommend them.

    Pest Removal

    This is the second time I've used their services. They are excellent. Fabulous service. Troy was great. He put up a trap with peanut butter. Both times they followed through and came back to leave the mesh only and remove the one way door. Great service. I would highly recommend this company. Monique
