Great service from start to finish. Dropped by on a Saturday to check out the issue, confirmed what needed to be done, and provided a detailed estimate within 48 hrs. Excellent communication on timeline, and the job was done thoroughly and professionally in two days. Couldn't be happier with the crew - friendly, knowledgeable, and left an immaculate work area between the two days of work. When they were done you couldn't even tell they had been there - house was exactly as they found it. Highly recommended.

Dave's crew did a fantastic job on my foundation. They were incredibly efficient and very conscientious. I was surprised at how quickly they were able to get the job done, but they did not cut corners. They went out of their way to make sure that any shrubs or plants that were dug up were not destroyed and could be replanted once everything had been backfilled. Marcotte foundations was very cost competitive when I was seeking quotes and they just offered more bang for my buck. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have foundation work done.

Great service from Dave Marcotte Foundations. Dave came to the house and helped us to determine the best method to repair a crack in the foundation. Dave provided a prompt digital quote, invoice and receipt. We decided on an interior repair and Dave’s technician completed the repair promptly and professionally. Dave referred us to an experienced contractor who opened the wall to expose the crack in the foundation and closed it back after the repair. I would highly recommend Dave Marcotte Foundations. Dave provided a transferable guarantee on the crack repair.

We discovered a crack in our foundation in early February - Dave was recommended by a family friend and his crew showed up quickly to inject the foundation and stop further seepage - he then moved the exterior work up by a month and we were extremely satisfied with the plan, the team sent on site and their professionalism. From my first call to Dave - who answered directly (a rarity with contractors these days, especially ones booked several months in advance like him) - to him taking full and instant responsibility for an issue that arose after the job, the whole experience was impressive from beginning to end. From the start, it almost felt like Dave was just a very competent and friendly buddy or neighbour who's helping you out with an issue, as he was very personable and responsive throughout the process. There was never any upselling or feeling like I was wasting his important time and instead, it was the complete opposite - he's patient in explaining the ins and outs of your issue and the potential options for solving and very honest in describing the benefits and risks of each option (ie. helping the customer decide the best balance of affordability vs. risk). Beyond Dave himself, it is obvious that he hires his crew to reflect his way of dealing with customers - as they exhibited the same courteous, helpful and competent ways like their boss. Dave and his crew excavated and waterproofed most of our foundation in the fall of 2017. We were so impressed—they were quick and highly skilled, and they put our yard back together beautifully afterward. About a year and a half later, we noticed another leak, and without boring you with the details, it ended up being a one-in-a-million issue with our house that Dave's team could never have anticipated. But even though the leak was no fault of the work they had done, Dave was completely on top of it and dedicated to figuring out the cause, and he didn't charge us for the additional work required to address it. I recommend his team to anyone who mentions needing foundation work—with projects this pricey and work that is basically invisible to you but so important to the integrity of your house, having someone as knowledgable and trustworthy as Dave is so valuable.

My call was promptly returned and estimate given the same day. Work was completed 2 days after. Technician was courteous and efficient. Based this experience I would recommend without hesitation.

My basement had quite a few cracks that I wanted to seal before finishing my basement. I contacted DM Foundation and the whole process from initial quote (Jesse) to completion was very smooth. Jesse and Justin came and they were great from beginning to finish. The price was very good compared to other companies for the number of cracks I had. I high recommend them if you are looking for a foundation contractor.

Last Spring our basement flooded. We researched, consulted engineers, and got estimates from five of the best rated contractors. Dave gave us the best proposal and by far exceeded expectations. Dave and his crew were hard working, polite, helpful, and nice to have around. Once the inside walls of the foundation were exposed the job turned out to be more extensive than expected. Two foundation walls had to be removed and rebuilt, other walls were stabilized with Kevlar strapping, and a new garage floor was poured. As well, we decided to enlarge basement windows while the foundation was exposed and close off the cold room. Every step of the way Dave came up with the best solutions and quickly engaged extra workers and materials needed. The price for the original work and the additional work was very reasonable. Waterproofing is expensive, messy, and disruptive but Dave and his crew went above and beyond to make it as smooth as it could be. We are very grateful.
