New to Ottawa, I was looking for someone to assist in a major home renovation including an update to our home's foundation weeping system and installation of concrete walls for a new garage and basement. Dave's team was the perfect fit. Not only did he execute on time and on budget, but was invaluable in helping us source local independent, expert trades people. Had a water leak in basement. I left a message on a long weekend. They followed up and the job was done on the first day after the long weekend. The gentleman who came to do the work was professional and friendly. His work was outstanding.

It's important to note that a review does not do enough justice for the service that we received, TOP QUALITY! We called DM because we read his fantastic reviews on HomeStars. From the very first call Dave was extremely accommodating on the phone and was able to see us within two weeks for an initial consult. During the initial consult Dave inspected the interior of the foundation and actually took the time to explain the situation. He explained to us why these hairline cracks formed and what route is the best to fix them (every case is different). After talking with Dave we decided to use his slow Epoxy Injection method. Dave let us know that we could wait to do this but it was 100% our choice to do now. We felt comfortable getting it all done right away, and he put no pressure on us. Dave's team filled a total of 16 cracks and were able to complete the job in 1 workday. They were professional, clean and extremely quiet during the whole process. His team kept us updated on the work they were doing and were not afraid to ask us any questions throughout the process. In fact, they would not even leave the stair landing and call us over as they did not want to disturb us. We found this quite professional. Dave's team did all the heavy work, they cut the wood studs, moved the insulation and placed it exactly where we asked them. They even went above and beyond and filled small areas where the foundation had chipped away with cement (at no charge). This was fantastic and it was quite surprising. I've read Dave's reviews many times and I honestly could not believe how good they were, but as i said from the start, reviews don't do justice for his work. I HIGHLY recommend DM Foundations to anyone looking to get work complete in the future. His company will be the first one we call in the future (we hope we don't need to) if we need any foundation or garage flooring work done. BOTTOM LINE: YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH DM FOUNDATION.

I needed a crack in my foundation repaired. I contacted several companies and received quotes from 3 providers including DM Foundations. They weren't the cheapest (basically in the middle and very fair), but the experience from start to finish set them apart. The level of communication and questions asked gave me confidence right away. They were the only company to provide an actual written quote, not just an email price - and the only one to come by and actually look at what needed to be done in order to make sure the quote was accurate. They were also able to squeeze me in to get the job done fast. Everyone I dealt with made me feel like a valued client and overall it was just a very confidence building experience. The job itself was done as promised and in a timely fashion. I really couldn't be happier. Thanks!

I am currently finishing my basement but unfortunately had the not so fun issue of a crack in my foundation that would leak on very rainy days or when snow melted. I contacted Dave and got a quick professional response from him. Booked a date and time for the work to be done and Jesse from the company came and did the work. Jesse is very professional, respectful and knowledgeable about his work and a great guy in general. I would without any hesitation recommend Dave Marcotte Foundations for anyone who has any issues with their basements or foundations. Very clean work and done properly.

We were somewhat shocked to discover extensive structural cracking in our foundation due to rebar corrosion. After we had a structural engineering assessment done, we contacted five different repair companies who all proposed very different solutions with wild variations in scope and price. Dave Marcotte was by far the best of all five, including having the best overall solution, warranty, quality and price. Dave even discovered issues that others had missed. Once the work began it was completed very quickly and efficiently. The crew was very professional and considerate and ensured a thorough cleanup. Dave was able to work seamlessly with our structural engineer to allow for the in-process and final engineering inspections. The work was excellent in all aspects. We are very happy with the finished solution and recommend Dave Marcotte very highly.

I interviewed many contractors before choosing Dave Marcotte to excavate and install new weeping tiles and a sump pit on our property. He provided me with a competitive estimate and was very knowledgeable about the needs of my property to address a water infiltration issue. Weather made it so the start of the work was delayed, however, Dave kept in touch and was ready to answer any questions. Before the work started, Dave walked through the job site with me to address any concerns or questions I had. I really appreciated his "no problem" attitude. He was very accomodating regarding requests, such as breaking up and taking away a large cement slab in the backyard without charging extra. His crew was well, organized, experienced and courteous. The work was completed on time with no surprises. Throughout the process, Dave remained in touch and filled me in on the progress. After the work was done, there was a plumbing issue that may or may not have been caused by the digging. Regardless, Dave brought in a plumber and fixed the issue. Again without charging any extra. If you're looking for an honest, reliable company that delivers quality workmanship and great custumer service, I highly recommend Dave Marcotte Foundations.

Dave was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Competitive and detailed quote, answering any questions we had. Work was done efficiently and Dave's team did an excellent job. Prompt estimate. Job done as and when promised. Very neat, tidy worksite that was cleaned up and left in pristine condition. Crew were informative and polite. Great to have the job done and done well.

After removing drywall damaged by a leaking pipe we discovered that our house foundation was bowed in about 8 inches and needed to be replaced. We had numerous companies quote for the work cost and timing, Dave's company provided the most detailed information about what work would be done, how much it would cost, when it could be done, how long it would take and any issues that may arise during the work. Dave was very helpful in letting us know what steps we, the home owners had to take with city permits etc. and was always in communication with us about who would be in and when to do the work. The team adjusted to the changes required in the work discovered upon unearthing the foundation and finding more issues. The work was done in a timely way while trying to limit inconveniences to us. The location of the damaged foundation meant that both entry doors to the house were affected. Everyone on Dave's team was polite and respectful at all times and kept their workplace, our home, as tidy as possible while excavating and doing major building work. Even with the changes and additions to the original work, the final product came in on budget. We are very happy with all of the work that Dave Marcotte Foundations and the entire team have done with our home and highly recommend them.
