We had DMF inject a foundation crack, fill in a basement window, and seal other foundation cracks from the exterior. They did an excellent job, as everything has been water tight since they completed the job. Dave was accessible and responsive from quote to completion.

We were having problems with water leakage in our basement after a heavy rain or when the snow melted in the spring. Dave and his team excavated, repaired and waterproofed our foundation at the end of October 2016. We were extremely happy with the work that was done. Dave's estimate was thorough and complete and he answered our many questions honestly and to our level of understanding. Dave and his crew showed up on time and were professional and always left the job site neat and tidy. The repairs to our interlock, fence and lawn were extremely well done. From quote to follow up, Dave Marcotte was a pleasure to deal with. He was quick to put together a quote, mindful of our specific requests and needs, and quick to respond to any queries throughout. His employees were just as professional, keeping a clean work site, and nice to interact with. After the job was done, a few cracks appeared in the surface layer of parging (done right before a heat spell), and DMF came back and fixed it, no problems - and followed up again later in the summer to ensure all was well. We're thrilled we went with the above ground insulation - it looks great and our basement is noticeably warmer in this super chilly weather. We've had lots of compliments from neighbours, and recommend DMF without hesitation.

Dave got back to me the same day I first contacted him and he came to our house to give us a quote on a Saturday. Dave was not the cheapest quote we received (nor the most expensive) and he wasn't available right away (because good people are busy), but we decided to wait for him because he impressed us with his knowledge and professionalism. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made during the entire renovation. Dave and his crew started work on the exact day he said he would. We had a crack in the foundation at the corner of the garage and the foundation inside the garage was deteriorating in our 54 year old house. The proprietor promptly came to look over the problem, gave us an estimate, and suggested how we could save money (by hand-digging ourselves to his specifications). His crew came when he said they would come, did the work efficiently, and were careful to tidy up the work area. As a semi-retired small businessman myself, I appreciated the professionalism and personal touch by Dave Marcotte and his team.

This is the second house I have had to call Dave for help. Next time I am thinking of buying a house, I will have him come inspect the foundation! My first spring in the house, I discovered water in the basement seeping through 3 sides. It was not only when snow melted, puddles also formed after a downpour, despite new downspouts etc.. Dave located the issue and gave me a few options. There have been several rain storms since and the basement remains dry. He is honest, fair, knowledgeable, and his staff are courteous and hard workers. They were careful to minimily impact my back deck that they had to dig under. I am very satisfied with the results.

We had to have the entire block foundation of our home waterproofed this summer. We met with four contractors and got four estimates on the work. One estimate was really high, one was reasonable but did not include many items in the scope of work and the estimate from Dave Marcotte Foundations and one other contractor were similar. We decided to go with Dave Marcotte Foundations because 1) his estimate was very competitive and 2) we found him to be very thorough when giving us the estimate, helping to ensure there were no surprises and 3) going the extra mile (hauling away an old brick fireplace hearth, for example) was no problem for Dave Marcotte and 4) he came highly recommended. We are very glad with our decision, and largely because we can now see how Dave operates his business. He gave us a start time-frame of mid-summer and commenced the work when he said he would. He finished the work when he said he would. His communication is the best I have seen from any contractor. He sent us regular emails letting us know what would happen next and when. He often sent us emails on Sunday letting us know what we could expect for the week ahead. He was always fast to respond to emails or phone calls and quick to respond when we brought up potential issues. Dave was on the job site a lot of the time, doing a fair amount of the heavy lifting himself. His team of workers are hard-working, respectful and courteous. They were tidy and always left the jobsite clean. When the job was complete, they did an excellent job of clean-up. Dave Marcotte knows foundations. He is very competitively priced. He communicates well and he gets things done when he says he will. I would highly recommend Dave and his team for any foundation work.

Our garage floor sunk about 4 inches and needed replacement; we approached 5 companies and Dave was the only one that followed up and even did a site visit within 24 hours. He and his crew were professional, courteous and available to answer any questions we had. During the original scope of work, we discovered some serious damage to the foundation.
