Flooded basement! Weeping tile failure. Home owner's nightmare. Dave inspected our basement, gave me a detailed estimate which included all the work to be done and did exactly what he promised. He and his team were excellent - early starters, and got the job done ahead of schedule. Problems arose, he solved them, and left me with a foundation and a basement which I have confidence will remain dry. Well done

Was very pleased with the communication, promptness, and quality of work by this firm. Had two small vertical basement cracks repaired in July 2014 using the polyurethane injection process and so far so good. Recommended.

Prompt, efficient and honest. Dave and Shane went out of their way to ensure that my basement was repaired quickly, fully and in a way that was most cost effective. They injected my cracks with the understanding that if the injections didn't work and excavation was necessary they would not charge for the injection. The injections have worked. Dave really cares about the quality of the workmanship and service provided. He provides excellent aftercare with recommendations for contractors to complete work outside his area of expertise. Very happy with my dry basement.

Dave and his crew did a thoroughly professional job repairing cracks to my foundation. Of the three estimates I received, Dave's was the most reasonable and Dave was excellent about communicating what was required to fix the problem correctly. He suggested a couple of options on the structural repair in order to save me some money. In the end we went with Fortress Systems Kevlar\Carbon fiber straps to support the structure on the inside, and a thorough waterproofing on the outside. The latter include trenching the perimeter, adding weeping tile, a rubberize coating on the exterior walls, platon membrane and then 2" Styrofoam insulation. They then refilled the trench with crushed stone, topped off with decorative riverstone. Also, they replaced patio pavers and added topsoil for the lawn to return the site to its original condition (or better). Dave and his crew started the job on schedule and stayed with it until it was completed. As the supervisor Dave was constantly onsite to oversee the quality of the work. In sum, having to fix your foundation is costly and massively disappointing, but if you have to go through it, Dave Marcotte Foundations does the work competently and at a reasonable cost. I have recommended them to friends and neighbours without hesitation.

Dave and his clew were all hard working and very nice people to deal with. They even rescued a skunk trapped in the hole one morning! I would hire them again for my house and certainly recommend his team to anyone I know.

Dave was so honest and helpful from the first time I called. He was quick to come and give us an estimate and very fair and flexible to our needs. His crew was on time and did a great job of waterproofing the cracks in our foundation from the exterior. I wouldn't trust anyone else as much as I trust Dave to do my foundation repairs! While trying to sell my house, a crack was noticed in its foundations. Dave's price was competitive and he was on the ball: he came quickly for an estimate, and did the job the next week. But the reason I chose him is that he gave me really good advice. He knew that cracks don't just have effects, they have a cause, and he advised me to have someone look into it. I hired a structural engineer that Dave knew; he inspected the house and reassured me that there was no structural problem. This will be important to potential buyers, so I think it is money well spent, and I did it because Dave gave me good advice.

Dave and his team worked on our foundation last summer. Not too much to tell except it was done on time, on budget and with minimum of disruption. I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

I had a small crack in my garage wall that connected to my neighbours home, I need it to be checked and repaired ASAP. Dave provide me great advise on how I should deal with this problem, he recommended that I contact a Structural engineer to confirm that it was minor in nature as he had suspected it was to make sure the work to be done was the appropriate course of action. After an extensive examination The Engineer confirmed that there was no structural issues and a minor repair job was all that was required just like Dave had felt what was needed. Prior to contacting Dave Marcotte I had several other contractors try to tell me without evening seeing the problem that it would cost thousands of dollars to repair this matter. With the great advice from Dave the cost of repair and the report and visit from a highly qualified engineer cost me less that $500.00 in total, I not only had the issued repaired but the peace of mind in knowing that it was very minor in nature, I hate to think how much I could have been taken had I gone with a less honest contractor. Thank-you very much Dave, always nice to find an honest, caring contractor.
