From the intitial assessment of the problem to the end of the project, Dave Marcotte Foundations provided excellent service. The job started on time and was completed ahead of schedule by reliable, hard workers who took their work seriously. I was impressed on all levels. Dave Marotte is straightforward, honest and true to his word. I highly recommend his team.

Dave Marcotte recently waterproofed our foundation walls and changed the old clay weeping tiles to the plastic kind with a sock over them. Foundation work: The Quality of work is superb. The foundation walls are coated with a rubberized compound, then system platon is placed over it (nailed in) and 2" foam insulation is placed against then. Then the hole is filled with clear stones. The work was done as described in the contract to a "T". Communication: Dave is always great at providing daily updates and guidance on any decisions points that may come up. I like that he kept me informed on everything. With a job this big its important. Cleanup: Once the work was complete he put down topsoil, river rock(where requested) and laid down grass seed. I have to say that my lawn looks better now than it did before (it was in real bad condition before they arrived to do the work). It was a pleasure dealing with Dave and team and will definitely recommend him to others without question.

We had experienced some basement flooding after a string of unusual heavy snowfalls followed by heavy rains this past winter and spring. This company was recommended to us by a friend of a friend. After having carried out my own background research on the company (BBB, Google, HomeStars, etc.), I felt confident in contacting Dave to arrange for a site visit and for an estimate to be written up. Dave was very professional and thoroughly explained what our options were and gave an assessment of the situation. Due to the extremely heavy volume of bookings, Dave couldn't commit to a very firm timeframe, but he did commit to completing the job by the fall. He contacted me by email on a recent Sunday evening to let me know that his crew would start work on the morning of the following Tuesday. He and his crew showed up on time, as promised. Unfortunately, Dave accidentally damaged part of the aluminum cover for the fascia while he was excavating, but he noticed this right away and promised me that he would replace the damaged aluminum the following day when he came to give his end-of-day summary. He also mentioned that he found that the fence posts that he had to dig up to do the work had rotted at the bottoms and that he would replace them without any additional charge. In spite of being on a very tight schedule, Dave was able to complete the work as promised with his three-man crew, and he even managed to add in eavestrough and fence repair services as a free bonus. Overall, we are very satisfied with the work carried out by Dave and his team. We would definitely recommend his company to anyone else who needs work done on their foundation.

Dave Marcotte sure knows all there is to know about foundations! We are very pleased with the foundation work he completed at our house. All of the work was done in an efficient manner and was done on schedule. We have been doing a lot of work and renovations on our house over the last 5 years ourselves (mostly) so it was really nice to hire an experienced and highly recommended contractor to come in and complete a huge job in less than a week's time. Dave's knowledge about foundations, his professionalism, his honesty and easy going nature were all huge selling points for us when choosing a company to do this work. Our two young children also enjoyed watching all of the foundation work being done and all of the different equipment(e.g. stone slinger) that were used. None of the crew smoked which we also truly appreciated. Dave is very well connected to other excellent and experienced contractor's too (e.g. parging experts, window experts) which was also very helpful to us. Dave Marcotte's company performed the work as per the written agreement. He and his team are very professional and delivered the agreed upon finish product on time and on budget. They completed the work a day early to be exact. He explained everything at the and wrote up the estimate as per our discussion. There were no surprises at all during the work. They are very accomodating to questions as the work is being completed. As a homeowner I felt I received a first class job and service. I would have them back to do more work in the future if I required any foundation work. Excellent work ethic and great price compared to other companies.

Dave and his team did a fantastic job on our basement foundation repair. Our block foundation began to leak in the spring and after getting four quotes from different companies, we found Dave Marcotte Foundation to be the most competitive. His experienced and highly capable team had the job completed within a few days. Dave and his team were very professional and took the time to explain the process, the materials he was using and why. We found water seeping through the front wall of our 43 year old block basement. After discussing with Dave Marcotte it was decided the proper remedy was to excavate the front wall to the footing, apply a rubberized coating, a "platon" membrane, new drain tile and backfill with 3/4" stone. 2" styrofoam was also added to give better frost protection. To do this work meant removing and replacing a considerable amount of interlocking stone. Dave and his workers showed up right on time and worked steadily even though the weather was very hot. The job was completed in 2.5 days, including replacing the interlocking stone and a thorough cleanup of the area! My wife and I were amazed at how efficiently things were done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave to anyone needing foundation work. Thanks again Dave, Greg and Shane.

I highly recommend the services of Dave Marcotte Foundations. The company provided quick efficient service at a very competitive price with excellent results. I have had the opportunity to use their services twice with consistent high quality service received both times. They get the job done and done right!

Dave and his crew were professional from beginning to end. The work was completed in approximately one week and they left the site clean and ready to be landscaped. Dave answered all of my questions (and those of my neighbours!) willingly and thoroughly . I highly recommend his company for any foundation repairs.

We found a small water leak under a basement window this Spring and we called 4 companies. Three of them came and could not find any cracks nor figure out where the water came from. However all three of them told us our weeping tile system was defective since it's common in houses built around 1950. They gave us quotes ranging from 5,000$ to 20,000 +. Dave came to check the problem and he told us our weeping tiles were fine since the water was coming from the top of the wall. He suggested to monitor the situation for another Spring or two since this wall was not in a finished room and the leak was minor in order to be able to tell where the water was coming from. I will do as he said and if further problems arise will call him first and not waste my time with companies overselling their products. And by comparison, his quote for a window well repair is 1,800$.
