I contacted Dave to get a quote on some foundation repairs at our home. He replied to my initial e-mail very promptly and followed up with a phone call to discuss my questions. Dave came out to my house to do an estimate for repairs the next day. Upon arriving, he inspected the areas of concern and he took the time to explain to me the repair options, including how the repairs would be conducted and the pricing. Dave was very professional and it was obvious that he knew the subject that he spoke of. I arranged for Dave's team to complete the repairs to my foundation, by using the crack injection techniques described on his website. His crew arrived at the scheduled time and upon their arrival, they again explained to me the process for the repairs. They walked me through what they would be doing and they also showed me the process of how they conducted the repairs as they completed the work. They kept their work area tidy and completed the work in a thorough and professional manner. Dave's crew was very friendly and efficient in how they conducted their work. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Dave and his team!

Dave Marcotte, team and all of his subs have got to be one of the best companies / contractors I have ever had the pleasure to work with! They did what they said they would do, for what they said they would charge and they did it on time, on budget (actually saved me $) and in scope. Clean, professional, personable, friendly... I trusted Dave 150%! I would hire him again in a nano second. In fact, I wish he did more than foundations. Can't say enough good things. He made what was a misrable situation almost enjoyable. lol

Dave Marcotte Foundations did an excellent job with our basement renovation. He removed the existing floor, excavated approximately 8-10 inches, installed drainage stone, vapour barrier, insulation, wire mesh for infloor radiant heat and a 3" new concrete floor. The in floor radiant heat made installation a little tricky. He also enlarged the size of the basement windows which was a great extra. He was on-time (actually, 1 week ahead of schedule) and exactly on budget. I would have no trouble recommending him to anyone.

We had water coming through our block foundation. We called 4 different contractors for a cost estimate. All of them were roughly in the same price range, but we decided to go with Dave Marcotte as he seemed to us the most professional one; we got a quote within 24 hours and he did not hesitate to come to our place a few times for explaining the different options available to us. The work was done on time and on budget. Dave Marcotte supervised the work himself, and was good at coordinating his employees and other contractors (e.g. plumbers, concrete cutter). Dave Marcotte was one of 6 potential contractors for this work. He was highly recommended by an independent engineer we consulted for unrelated work. Dave's quote was not the lowest, but it was highly competitive and MUCH lower than the 2-3 most expensive quotes. His upfront assessment, communications and follow-up were superior to the other contractors, and he spent as much time as necessary to make us feel comfortable with the nuances of the work, the alternative approaches to solving our issues, and the rationale for his recommendations. Importantly, after we had made a booking for some months in advance (he's busy, because he's in demand, because he's good), Dave called personally a week in advance to confirm the work, and then he and his crew showed up on time, as planned. The crew was headed by Dave personally (he drove the digger) and they took great care to protect our property while also getting the job done right. For the duration of our job, we were the sole focus of the team, which was a plus: this was OUR slot, not to be distracted by competing priorities. The work was done on time, at a high quality, with our input throughout, and exactly on budget. We could not have asked for a more positive experience. I hope to never excavate a foundation again, but if I do I plan to call Dave Marcotte to do the work.

Dave visited my home and gave me plenty of free advice on an ongoing water ingress problem. It was decided that we should treat an existing crack and do investigative work on the weeping tile. The work was done on the date as planned with minimal disruption and the site was left in the condition in which is was found. I was very impressed with the professionalism of those involved and would readily use the service of this company again.

I had 6 different companies look at my foundation. I went with Dave because he did a better job of diagnosing the problem and explaining the solution. Other companies suggested much more expensive approaches. He got the job done in a very timely fashion. Very happy with the work.

Dave and his team were professional from the first quote all the way to arranging payment. Dave came to my place 4 (!) times to do estimates and each time he patiently explained all the work that should be done, could be done and must be done. He didn't mind that I asked him to come out 4 different times to make sure I knew what I wanted done. Each time he revised the estimate. His price was more than fair and when I finally chose an estimate, he got started on the work right away. His team was professional, the job was done quickly and the work looks great. It rained the whole week after and my basement is completely dry! I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thanks Dave for making a necessary evil a somewhat enjoyable experience. Good job. When the excavation was done to repair some cracks they found a hole in the weeping tile -- completely unexpected as we had had no idea there was a problem there! -- and Dave was able to fix it right then and there. We were very pleased with the work.

Dave gave detailed written quotes, didn't try to oversell, kept to his schedule and work was done very well. Would recommend / reuse him. (need some more words to make the 30 word minimum)
