Removal of old gas range, intsallation of new gas range

I have a feeling George is the type of guy that his friends' mothers want their sons to be like and their daughters to marry. First thing he did was take off his shoes before entering my house and he left them on the porch. He then pointed out that there was a dent on the back of my new $1500 range. Had he not pointed that out, I would not have gotten the $130 refund from the retailer. Thanks George! He made sure I understood a lot of stuff like city codes along with the workings of the new range. He's very thorough. He helped me move my old range out of my house on onto the curb where it was picked up by a passerby no more than 10 minutes later. Note that when I got a washer/ dryer the guys that delivered the new ones asked for $20 to move the old ones outside. You know that 15% tip you weren't quite sure about but felt obligated to leave last week at the restaurant? You should've saved it and given it to George. Very professional, friendly, respectful and on time!

    Answer from pro:

Hello Danny and thank you for taking the time to write us an excellent review. As part of the installation process we have to ensure that the range is in safe working order before I can leave a job site. A quick once over, allows me to see if the range has been dropped or severely damaged which may affect the performance of the product. Thanks again for choosing GasGuys.ca, we appreciate your business!

Gas line to stove and BBQ

George did an excellent job in installing a gas line for our stove and bbq. He was punctual, friendly and definitely knows his stuff. He even helped me on something he wasn't there for. I had a problem with the ignitor in my new fire table...little did I know I needed a battery! Thanks George!

    Answer from pro:

New Gas line for BBQ & Fire Pit

We had such a great experience dealing with George when we contacted him earlier in the year to assist us after we had a fire and our gas was shut off. We knew that George was our Gasguy for good! We hired George to create a gas line for our outdoor kitchen BBQ and our fire pit. As always he was on time, great service, very knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend the GasGuy!!

    Answer from pro:

Hey Molly, thank you for choosing GasGuys.ca to complete your backyard projects. Timing is always difficult in situations like this where you have to co-ordinate with all the trades however overall things worked out well. I hope your family has started to use the fire-pit and are making the most out of it so far. Enjoy it. George

    Gas BBQ hookup

I called Gas Guys yesterday to have a natural gas BBQ hooked up in my backyard. The great reviews here on HomeStars set the bar high, and George didn't disappoint. He was able to come that very evening, and did a great job. On time, extremely friendly, not rushed at all... he even spent some extra time with me to make sure that I understood all the functions of my BBQ and gave me some tips on how to maintain it. I highly recommend his services. Thanks George!

    Answer from pro:

    Gas Stove Connection

I contacted George on a Friday afternoon and he dropped by the next day in the morning to connect our gas stove. George was prompt in getting back to me over the phone, arrived on time the next day and completed the work efficiently and with minimal disruptions to our day. I was very hapy with the service and the prompt response.

    Answer from pro:

Hey Carlos, thank you for your excellent feedback! I am glad we were able to connect your range within 24 hours. Looking forward to working with you again for any future gas needs you should have. Enjoy the new kitchen! George

    Gas Leak

George was amazing! We could smell gas so he came over and assessed the entire problem. We were impressed by the way he walked us through the issue and thoroughly explained how he was going to fix it. He was fast, efficient and didn't leave any mess behind. I would definitely recommend/use GasGuys.ca again.

    Answer from pro:

Hey Rania, thanks for taking the time to write us an excellent review. Enbridge may identify the approximate or even exact location of a specific leak however. This does not mean there are no other leaks in the gas lines. GasGuys.ca are very thorough with our gas leak process. As required by code, we always perform the full pressure test to ensure that all gas lines are sealed and it is safe to turn the gas back on. Thanks again, George

    Disconnect gas range

I was replacing my gas range with an electric one and needed someone with TSSA certification to disconnect the gas range, cap the line and move my old range to the garage. George at GasGuys responded to all my emails and we set up the appointment, he came and did the job, taking care not to damage our floors by using a special mat when moving the range and generally being pleasant and easy to deal with. I will call them again if I need some gas related work done.

    Answer from pro:

Hey Michael, thanks for the excellent feedback. Every licensed gas technician is TSSA certified however it is important that the company they work for also be TSSA licensed. I am glad we were able to get your stove disconnected and moved to your garage. Looking forward to having you as a long term customer. George

    Installation of gas line

I called George because of the great Homestars reviews. We were moving into our home and wanted to install a gas line and new stove. We weren't sure if going along the side of the house or through our finished basement was best. George and his father came over, and were VERY honest about everything. They ended up going through the basement ceiling, but kept the area super clean. George is knowledgeable and does a wonderful job. Don't hesitate to give him a call, I would definitely use him in the future!

    Answer from pro:

Hey AGO, I am glad you were proactive and called us before re-finishing your basement. Running a gas line through a finished ceiling is our last case scenario and never the desirable option. Thanks again and looking forward to servicing all your gas needs in the future. George

George at GasGuys.ca was a absolute pleasure to work with. He came out to our house on a weekend the morning after we called and he was thorough, efficient and did a great job. He worked neatly and ensured that he checked all potential sources of gas leaks before he wrapped up his work. We would recommend and use GasGuys again without hesitation.

    Gas line repair

When I received a red tag from Enbridge giving us 30 days to repair a rusted/pitted gas line I immediately called George at GasGuys. This is my second time using him (first time for 40ft BBQ line) and he was able to fit me in the same day to complete the work. As usual he was quick, thurough, professional and explained all the work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend his services. Thanks George!

    Answer from pro:

Hey Felix and thank you for taking the time to write us an excellent review! Knowing you have kids in the home and no hot water, I can appreciate the sense of urgency and will try to accommodate as best as possible. I am glad we were able to get that resolved for your family in a timely manner and everything is back up and running.
