Glass Blocks – Install
- Glass block installations are a common request among homeowners as they can replace walls or make good partitions within rooms like the kitchen and the dining area. As it requires accurate measuring and choosing the right blocks, it’s best to hire a professional to do the project for you.
Mirrors – Install or Replace
- Mirror installation is an easy way to upgrade the look of your space. From smoked glass mirrors to mirror closet doors – there are many ways to incorporate mirrors into your interior design. Mirrors can also make a room appear bigger and airier. If “large mirror home gym” has been your top search, a contractor can help you find and install the perfect one for your home gym. This is especially helpful if your home gym is in the garage or a basement.
Mirrors – Repair or Resilver
- Over time, mirrors can lose their shine or the frame may look dated. Repairing and mirror resilver can help bring back the shine and also upgrade the look with a new frame or backdrop.
Glass Shower Door or Enclosure – Install and Repair
- Installing a glass shower door can help separate the bath area and keep your bathroom dry and appealing. It’s important to hire a contractor for these installations as bath spaces need to be measured and curved glass doors or customized glass doors need to be installed with extreme care and expertise. If over time, your bath door has been damaged or is dated, glass shower door repair or replacement can quickly fix this problem and a contractor can help you find the perfect glass door for your shower.
Window Glass – Install or Replace
- Window glass installation and replacement is a task that requires specialty tools and plenty of experience. Hiring a contractor can make this project much easier as they can do a seamless job and lend a new look to your windows.
Decorative and/or Stained Glass Inserts
- Decorative glass installations or exterior doors with glass are also trending projects among homeowners. The minimalistic looks of the glass along with easy customization can make for easy upgrades that lend a modern look to any home. Glass can also be used in other places in your home like fire glass for fireplaces that not only look beautiful but also help circulate the heat more effectively and evenly. Depending on the fireplace, a contractor can also help you pick out the perfect fire glass for your home.

basement walk out door to the garden
Anonymous user 06/10/2025 - 2:59 PM
I'm experiencing cold air leak through my basement door due to a large gap. Despite trying various weather foams, the issue persists because the gaps are too substantial. I suspect the door and frame aren't properly aligned, likely due to the previous owner's DIY installation. Should I consider replacing the door or exploring other solutions to address this issue?

Trouble Opening My Vinyl Window
Anonymous user 30/09/2025 - 9:33 AM
Hey there, I've got a question about my vinyl window. When I try to turn the handle to unlock and open it, it seems to be stuck at the bottom. I have a feeling the bolts might be at the bottom instead of on the side of where the window opens. Any tips on how to get it unstuck? Thanks!
