    No more squirrels in the attic!

    Upon realizing that we definitely had squirrels in our attic and not running around on the roof, we contacted Gates. They had someone at our house to check things out within a few hours. Tony went up on the roof and found the problem - a gap left when the soffit was pushed up when we had the roof replaced last month; the roofers forgot to pull it back down leaving a huge doorway for the lucky squirrels to enter our attic. Tony took some pictures for me so I could see the problem myself and then he prepared an estimate for the work and e-mailed it to me to review. He explained that he included some recommended services in the estimate but he was not at all pushy about those. He then left the estimate with me and gave me his cell number so I could call when my husband and I made a decision. I contacted him about half an hour later (after the roofer refused to step up and cover the cost of the squirrel removal) and he didn't think he could come back that day but he arranged for someone else to come by later that afternoon. Tony's colleague arrived about an hour later and In less than an hour, everything was done (one-way gate) and after hearing some scurrying and scratching for a few more hours as the squirrels realized their easy access was gone, the attic was quiet and we have heard nothing since. :):) Very impressed with Gates and will definitely recommend to friends/neighbours if they have a need.

    Squirrel Removal

    Gates Wildlife Control did a great job getting rid of the squirrels from our attic. They were able to come to our house to give us a quote quickly, and returned promptly to do the work, and for follow-ups. Boris was friendly, courteous, and professional. After the squirrels were gone and the one-way doors were removed, Boris closed up the access points with galvanized wire mesh. He even spray foamed the openings at our request (we provided the spray foam) to keep out bugs and the weather!

    Squirrel removal

    Installed one way door for squirrels to safely leave attic but not return. Were polite and very professional. Made an effort for timely service as it was an emergency situation

    Raccoon damage repair

    Super quick, professional, and thorough service. So happy with this company and highly recommend their services. They are pros!

    Wildlife removal

    I would highly recommend calling AAA Gates Wildlife if you are having any problems with wildlife in and around your home. They are highly knowledgeable and extremely thorough, professional and courteous and provide excellent customer service. We had raccoons removed by AAA Gates Wildlife earlier in the year and recently called them because we noticed that the fascia of our home's roof peaks had come loose. We weren't sure if raccoons would be able to climb that high and if they had been trying to get through the fascia?  Peter got back to us right away and even came out to take a look.  He found that the fascia hadn't been screwed in properly when installed during our renovation and had come loose with the wind. Peter was nice enough to fix the fascia at no charge. Earlier in the year,  when raccoons had ripped a piece of our siding and settled into our attic, we called AAA Gates Wildlife because they came highly recommended from friends. They returned our call the same day (it was early Sunday morning when we heard a loud crash on our roof and the sound of scratching and snarling from the attic) and they were at our home early the next day. They inspected the attic and installed a one-way door to ensure our unwanted visitors could not get back in once they left. They also inspected the rest of the roof and eaves around the house for other areas raccoons or other critters could use to get into our house.  I really appreciated having a clear written estimate along with a guarantee. I also appreciated how Peter took the time to explain what he found, my options to fix the problems and what should be done to avoid issues in the future. Within 2 days AAA Gates was back to make sure the raccoons were gone. They repaired the damage to the roof and replaced the one-way door with a raccoon-proof wire mesh cover and also fortifying other vents so we wouldn't run into any other problems in the future. So far no unwanted visitors!

    Wildlife control

    Gates Wildlife Control came strongly recommended by one of our neighbours, about three years ago. They did an excellent, professional and thorough job, with honest feedback. That job took about 2 days. Recently we had a squirrel nest on our roof, And we did not think twice about calling Gates Wildlife. They once again showed the stellar service we received 3 years ago.

    Raccoon(s) in attic

    We were not sure if we had raccoon(s) or squirrel(s) in our attic. We would hear scratching and scraping in the attic at night (e.g. at 5am when it was still pitch dark outside). We called AAA Gates based on the positive reviews on Homestars. It is very helpful that they are willing to come out to take a look and provide a detailed quote for free. It turns out that a very determined raccoon had managed to pull the cover off one of our roof vents (apparently this is not uncommon), giving them free access to our attic. In fact, my mother had found the cover on the ground a few days earlier, but had no idea what it was. The quote to install the 1-way door, and to return later to replace the door with permanent raccoon proofing on the roof vents, was clear and detailed. We went ahead with the work. This was back in October. We haven't had a problem since. Thanks Andrea and Blake at AAA Gates.

    Squirrels in the attic

    Chris arrived right on time, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He worked quickly to identify the issue, provided photos of the damage and an accurate estimate of the work that needed to be done. The work was done well, and quickly, with provision of after photos of the work he did. I was going to ask him to go into the attic to see if there was damage inside, but he offered to do this before I had a chance to ask him. We're very pleased by the service and would recommend AAA Gates Wildlife to all my friends and family.

    Wildlife Control

    Unwanted house guest

    Call Gates!! Don't hesitate!! How can you have a great experience with a raccoon in your attic?? AAA Gates Wildlife Control was there to help that is how.... A raccoon entered our attic through a roof vent. We call AAA Gates Wildlife Control for help. From the moment their dispatched answered our call to the completion of the work done on our roof, we could not ask for a better experience. Big thanks to Chris for resolving our problem. Not only was he very knowledgeable, he was also extremely thorough in his inspection of our home. He took great care in his workmanship, creating critter proof barriers and ensured that everything looked asthetically pleasing. Thank you AAA Gates Wildlife Control.
