    TRANE AIR COND. & HUMIDIFIER

    Button's Heating technicians installed TRANE AIR COND. & HUMIDIFIER on APRIL 3, 2013 in fast, clean, professional manner. I am on the TRANE now, because the furnace was completed 2 years ago.

    New furnace and tankless hot water

    A big thank you to Steve Stefoff, Comfort Consultant, Mike Button, Install Manager, and the fantastic installation team of Jonathan, Todd, Mike N., and Dan for making the installation on my new Trane furnace and Navien Tankless hot water system a great experience. A truly professional group who made quick work of removing the old and installing the new and leaving me in new found comfort and security. What's not to praise?!! Thanks!!

    Service broken furnace, install new furnace

    Our furnace died last night. I called Button's at 7am, received a call back immediately and had Mario on my driveway by 8am. He diagnosed the problem and quoted the cost for the repair. Since we had been thinking of replacing the furnace soon, we had received a quote from Button's in the fall, I asked for an updated quote. Mario recommended the Button's brand furnace, top of the line (modulating, variable speed) for about 1000 Dollars less than the Trane brand. Todd and Russ worked continuously to install it the very same day and now even the room above the garage is cozy! Very prompt and professional service.

    Emergency repairs

    I'm extreamely impressed with the services provided by staff at Button's Heating Inc. We required emergency services late in the evening and a Services Person came over right away to help us. They helped us the next day also to finish the work required on our furnace. They are punctual, professional, courteous and kind.

    Install New Hot Water Tank

    After reading many of the reviews on HomeStars, I was convinced to call Button’s Heating and Air-conditioning to install a gas hot water (my electric tank started leaking). Left a message on Wednesday night and they returned my call the next morning. Being an easier conversion (exterior wall is just behind the tank), Joe Button (Dad) gave me the estimate over the phone, including some recommendations (50 gallon tank). Once arrived Todd B. and John B. laid down the front runners (blankets) to protect the floor and started working immediately. They answered my questions and also asked me If I had any preferences ( I wanted the gas pipe routed between the joist for more head room). They are easily approachable and just all around professionals. They use top notch material like ball valves for the water lines and steel (flex) tubing to connect the gas. Nothing sub-standard there. An error code showed up while the tank was heating up. The diagnostics was that there was too much condensation, since the tank was filled with cold (winter) water. Both Todd and John said we stayed and extra 40 minutes to verify it wasn’t anything else. Once the tank heated up more, the error code went away. Like other have said, the price is fair (not cheap or expensive), but the piece of mind is well worth it. The price in the estimate was also the final price (which you don’t get very often with contractors).

    Furnace Replacement

    We recently had to replace our furnace. The guys from Buttons Todd, Mike N. and Mike H. were quick, prompt and very courteous. They were most attentive to the clean up of our home. Completely satisfied and would highly recommend this company to friends and neighbours. Dan from Oshawa

    Furnace Repair

    My furnace stopped working on the weekend and someone from Buttons came in for repairs. After checking all sorts of things and calling several people at the company for advice he changed the high limit but the furnace still didn’t come on. I was told I should either change another part or change the furnace and the part can only be picked up from dealer the following week. I paid and he left. The next day after battling with cold for another night, I called another company. They came in and swapped the center fan module and the furnace was back on. I was told that the high limit rarely breaks but since Buttons technician took the old part there was no way to check. I later checked the price of high limit and it seems that I was charged over $100 more than the actual retail price. To sum up my experience with Buttons; they came in, charged me $500 and left me and my family in the cold without fixing the issue which was later fixed by another person for less than half as much. I should have probably asked them to put the old part back and just pay for the service call. Lesson learnt...

    Furnace, Air Conditioning and ERV installation

    I highly recommend this company. We hired Buttons through Home Depot contractor services. The sales person was very helpful and friendly, and so were the installers. Installation was done well, quality of product was great. We did go around and tape all our new ducting joints to ensure they were sealed properly as there were a couple gaps here and there. Overall, happy with the service and price.

    Home Heating System Rplacement

    Reliable, efficient and thorough professional service. From sales through to installation Buttons handled the job to our utmost satisfaction. We were accomodated on a Sunday for our initial consultation and the crew showed up as promised and completed the work in a timely manner. We were also thoroughly apprised as to how to use our new system most efficiently and cost effectively. I recommend Buttons to anyone who appreciates peace of mind when dealing with tradesmen.

    New furnace

    Todd Buttons, Mike and Mike installed a new furnace in our house last week, and WOW what a difference, the cold areas are gone, the house is much warmer and the furnace is quiet. The team was extremely professional, explaining everything thoroughly. Clean up was impeccable, and they even moved my thermostat to a better location free of charge, can't wait to see our lower heating bills. We have used Buttons to replace our AC a few years ago, they also installed a tankless water heater for us, there has to be a reason why we only use Buttons........Reliability, professionalism, and fantastic after sales service. Thanks a million guys.
